We, as a fandom, knew all of those explanations but people that are casual listeners and potential fans didn’t know, so it would be better for them to release a video like this every era explaining everything so the mainstream audience understands the lore and listen to their songs more often or even better, it’s fuel for those people to become part of the fandom

I'm now 23 and have "Fight it, take the pain, ignite it" tattooed on my chest for a reason. This band. This music. This storyline. This world Tyler's created is the most accurate representation of the mental illness journey I've ever come across and its so poweful to listen to songs i used to, and so many people still, sob to in their darkest moments, and just scream them powerfully and proudly. Today, at 18, I'm in a much better place, about to graduate high school and feeling proud of how far I've come. The past years haven't been easy. While others my age were out having fun, I was at home, desperately trying to keep myself alive. Depression and PTSD are beasts, but I made it through, and I owe a lot of that to Twenty One Pilots-their songs, the storyline surrounding Dema, and the fandom. All of this gave me strength and made me feel less alone. It helped me help myself. I'm glad I'm still here to see this storyline come to an end. Thank you, Tyler. Thank you, Josh. This kind of thinking isn't THAT rare in my opinion. He's just 1 of the few who've been able to share it with billions of people and hasnt had his arm successfully twisted by the industry, which is obviously run by and made for Western 'normalcy' This kind of thinking is too often squashed out of people or watered down. He and Josh are kicking normalcy's butt, hopefully paving the way for others who are 'too weird' or too imaginative' for mainstream, and allowing more of the - squashed into normal- folks to be exposed to what they probably feel but don't know, they are missing.

ive been a hardcore TOP fan i was 5, back when blurryface was fire, and for the pieces to finally be put together with the music feeling so perfect 9 years later... Thank you, Tyler, and Josh, for giving my life meaning again. I preordered the limited edition clancy vinyl btw.
