Inside Debby Ryan & Josh Dun's Fascinating Ohio Home | Open Door | Architectural Digest

Today AD is welcomed to Columbus, Ohio by Debby Ryan and Josh Dun for a tour of their fascinating, ‘treehouse fantasy’ home. It might be surprising to hear of a sparkling young actor and her rocker husband setting up their first house in the “Arch City,” but Ryan and Dun relish an impulsive departure from the script. When they discovered the property and decided to make it their home, the actor and musician tapped Fawn Galli and Ashley Moyer to bring their domestic dream to life. From a basement boxing ring and a cold-plunge pool on the back porch, to a recording studio and a dramatic stone bust of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, that dream has come to full fruition. “I remember walking through the house and feeling like there was so much room to put our personalities into it,” says Dun. “Not only was this the first house that we designed together, but it was really the first time that both of us felt the freedom to put our mark on a place.”

I love how much they love their home. You can tell they really *live* in here. Oh MOST DEFINITELY one of greatest A.D. house tours I’ve ever seen. This is a super creative (just like Jim’s bow😂) and just a fun house for the both of them. I totally agree. I actually like Debby Ryan more now than I did before seeing this video. I saw her in Insatiable, and (I realize now that) her acting was SO good that I came to dislike her as a person. After watching this, though, I think that both she and Josh Dun are awesome people that I’d love to hang out with.

probably the most personality ive seen in any celeb home, everyone elses is boring and lacks character but i love all the different art, wallpaper, decorations of debby and josh's home. Its beautiful! edit: i also love the fact that they dont live in LA like every other celebrity or influencer, i always wonder why they pick such a trashy city to live in. There are so many beautiful places to live in america. It's really refreshing to see them not take their decor so seriously, there's a lot of tours I've seen where the homes are aesthetically well put together but looks so cold and have absolutely no character person. You really get a sense of their personalities just from their home which I much prefer to an all white box

This is the most beautiful display of compatibility and creativity I have yet to witness! Debby is the most interesting human I have come across in YEARS! And Josh is soooo thoughtful and even tempered. This house feels like the brain child of two adult children playing "house" at school. I like they way they look at the other one when they are speaking to the camera. I love their thoughtfulness... Like, dude loves her! And how could you not? She is the funniest, most chill person ever. And this house is just such a masterpiece and seems to fit their lives so well, based on what they have explained. I am in awe. This might be my favorite one yet! My life partner goals have changed!

This is by far the most stunning home I’ve ever seen. The quality of belongings is definitely very high, everything is so lush, and STILL they made this home unapologetically theirs.
