Just to clarify that my wife is the proud owner of the Fiat 500l with the aircon issue. Lee went above & beyond getting this sorted for us. In addition to the multitude of jobs he did to get it ready for us at point of sale. It’s like Siberia in that Fiat now. I would highly recommend buying from The Car Pitch. In fact I’d be dubious buying from anywhere else in the future. We’ve been spoilt. 😅

Lucky man. I don't have the benefit of youtuber car salemen where i am in the UK. Rather ironically I got offered one of my mums friends old motors a Fiat 500 for again ironically 500 quid 😆😆😆 but not really a bit of me. Instead im suffering although do have a lead on a Fiesta 1.6 zetec s with 71k full history and had cambelt, pump & tensioners etc changed 6k back with invoice so hopefully but you never know what you will turn up and find.

@@scytheoflife1947I have bought from dealers before and been very let down. Although the car pitch is an hours drive away from me, having watched Car UKs KZbin channel for a good six months, I’d already decided through his knowledge and experience that my next car was going to be bought from his pitch. It was just a case of waiting for the right motor. And this Fiat was perfect for my wife. My next car will definitely be from here again. Good luck with your Fiesta 😊

Love the honesty in your videos. To get ahead a little I’d suggest you 1. pre book outside garages and paint even if you don’t know the specific jobs you’ll have in 2-3 weeks time. 2. Buy SOME cars (probably more expensive ) that have less work to do. 3. Consider off site storage/additional workshop so extra work is ongoing and can clear your forecourt. As it’s not retail it can be cheap… if you do, set up cameras to check work is being done and security. 4 think through how your role must change now. Less hands on, less admin, whatever you can pass on to free up your time for quality control, customer service, buying and talking with staff so they feel engaged in their jobs. Staff performance is everything in business. Encourage them to feel engaged and take ownership of their responsibilities. 5. Get casual labour to help cleaning, shuffling cars, paint preparation or whatever. 6. Relax on your holiday and let go a bit. Do say 1-2 hours work a day then switch off. You’ll come back with fresh eyes. I’m sure you do most of these already but you may see something afresh. Well done mate.

The clever bit is identifying where a bit more effort is required like the Fiat. It’s the same in every service industry sector, but there’s a knack to working out where the effort will yield the best results. Sometimes profit making, sometimes reputation building.
