Aw, it's not that you're not smart. You just tend to jump to conclusions based on very incomplete evidence, then not revisit that conclusion until another answer literally slaps you in the face, hehehe. It's cool though, I think we've all had moments like that. Probably more often than we like to admit. Play on!

Based on the title, I assumed this was Quill realizing he should be firing rockets that summoned meteors. No, he mentions and dismisses this near the beginning of the video, and then later comes back around to consider it again. It ALSO wasn't "oh man I should have been exploring the whole time I was AFKing", or "oh I can easily make a T2 flashlight". No, this was the key thing. Glad you realized this when you did, though it's amusing how long it took you.

Sky changes according to the meteor type: Blue - Osmium, Pink - Pulsar Quartz. Fast falling meteors is Super Alloy.

Great Series Quill. Actually you are right with the X and Y in the real world. But you have to Think it into a game where the X axis is east/West and Y is North/South and Z axis is up/Down.

Around 13:30 ish: Oh you know what, they don't need the adventure and discovery. Who even likes treasure hunting? xaxa.. lol, personal preference to not fast forward these and people can always fast forward if they want.

It amazes me that Quill has been in multiple meteor storms, and at no point has attempted to look up during them.

Thankfully he started playing AFTER the patch that made the meteors stop always targeting the player's current position.

Quill, unless you want the late game to be really, really, tedious, I strongly suggest building more flower spreaders and put one of each kind of flower you have in them. Then get working on making trees. Get enough different flowers growing and a few new types of flowers will start to appear around the map that you can collect. Also, there are a couple tree seeds you can only get from specific locations, but they have crazy high multipliers. Edit: Also, there is a place where you can mine Zeolite, and it's not that far from your base. It should be accessible now as the ice should have melted.

Problem is, he completly missed side panel that has instructions for use of DNA Manipulator. Unless he looks it up on the net, he can't make Tree seeds, so his O2 gen is more f-ed than North Korean allergic to eating plants. That's the reason his air filter is at pathetasad 0,1 (and it's prolly only because it can't be 0).

The first time you got back to the mushroom caves, my thought was "Oh, the second one is in the cave too". Took you a little longer to come to that realisation :p I wonder how much time was cut out with that fast forward!

Quill i think the terraforming is you adding to the current everything. So you added a pascal to the planet in total.

If the planet is anything like Mars, the surface pressure started out barely above vacuum anyway.

On Earth the difference between low and high pressure systems is in the 1000's of Pa range. 1 Pa doesn't really change anything. Even Mars has an atmosphere average pressure of about 600 Pa. 1 Pa is not enough of a change to the sustainability of life. But, this is just a game, all you need to see is "number go brr".

The only time I had trouble with East and West was when I was south of the Equator. I tried to find north by looking for the angle of the sun and I took a few steps in the wrong direction before I realized I was going the wrong way.

Okay, I did from 10 seconds in until 4:11 after he figured out that he did not pickup all of the components from the mining drills he toire down. I did see he missed the mineral (osmium I think) that was in the asteroids... but other than his voice, nothing hilarious... normal Quill.

He is so incurious about the meteors! He's curious about why the sky changed color, and he walked over by one of the newly fallen meteors, but he didn't actually look under it! You could even see the glow from a pulsar crystal in the corner of the screen if you pause it at the right point! And this is even after saying someone told him he should be summoning more meteors with rockets to get more materials!

That wasn't pulsar meteor, it was Osmium+Sulphur.

@@BenjaminKlahn Every single meteor that hits drops resources. At first only common metal but in later TI stages useful things like Superalloy or Pulsar Quartz.
