That lunch at the beginning looked really good, well put together. I do agree about the chicken though, i don't particularly like that kind of sauce either. She should have eaten more salad, it didnt look like it had any dressing on it though. A vinegarette would have been good. Add some nuts, raisins, apples, chow mein noodles, and it would have been awesome. If she's really on the road to better eating habits, this wasn't too bad of a start. She was able to stop herself from eating too much both at lunch and at night, so that is something. As for her 7.5, i think that it would mean for her own habits personally, rather than all around general healthy eating. I'll give her a "not too bad for the day" score. She wasnt devouring a whole pizza and a bucket of fried chicken, so, yeah.

Me too! I used to eat 1/2 of my dinner to save room for dessert when I went out. Now I skip bad desserts and have a piece of fruit or Greek yogurt for dessert. I love vanilla Greek yogurt with a drizzle of honey and some sliced almonds. Since doing this I have lost 20 pounds

I keep trying Greek yogurt but don’t care for it - maybe I’ll give it a try with a drizzle of honey as you suggest. My dessert go to is a sliced banana with a 1/2 tbsp of choc syrup - it tastes like a rich sweet treat and is only around 100 - 120 calories!

Zero sugar can be worse than regular sugar soda, because the artificial sweeteners can be harder for the body to break down into energy, so it stores as fat. You’re better off drinking a regular coke, but still limit them.

Can you show me a study that is credible that will show that regular soda, is better for you than a Diet soda, or that it stores a zero calorie drink as fat in the body? Also I'm curious as to where you heard this from as well. As I've been trying to figure out who spreads the rumors around. I've heard a few people say this, usually older individuals in their 40's+ and I'm just legit curious. The most recent studies have shown positive effects on weight loss, that it isn't that bad for you unless consumed in excess, like 12+ cans a day for several years straight which can make it a possible carcinogen, but even that has limited evidence to back it and isn't any more dangerous than just about anything we'd consume in over indulgent doses.
