Just recently bought a baritone ukulele, gave up on guitars so many times My two sons played my old guitars, now in their early 30s could play Professional, took it up instantly, I struggled. Saw the baritone on KZbin, bought one, fantastic instrument Easier on my old fingers, not as frustrating as the guitar, nice sound Just pick it up when you feel like. I’m from the u.k., and like your tutorial, a slightly more serious view Treating the instrument with respect, more soundscapey. Thanks.

Didn't anticipate that I'd be coming home with a baritone today - had heard them on KZbin and such and curiosity struck. Played one at a music store for about 10 minutes and began to fall in love with it and made decision that it was coming home with me. I tried guitar years ago and just couldn't get it, went to bass as it was less strings, easier to do. Then decided I want to give the uke a spin and years ago bought a concert. About 1.5 weeks in and feel like I've learned quite a bit over the 1.5 weeks I've been playing unlike me struggling to do the basic chords on guitar... Thank you sausage fingers that life blessed me with.

I wish I was recording my reaction and jaw dropping when I got the natural harmonics to work. I can’t believe I can play melodies and make sounds like this within minutes with my limited skill and knowledge. You are an amazing teacher and give me something truly interesting and rewarding to strive towards. Thank you Marco.

So very beautiful! I switched from concert ukulele to baritone in October 2023. I love the mellow sound. My guitar teacher loves that I made the switch, too. He no longer has to figure learn chord patterns for GCBA tuning...he just shows me what can be done on guitar strings 1, 2, 3, 4.

Beautiful playing! Thank you. Bartione uke is my fav of all ukes because you can easily transition beyween the guitar and the GCEA tuned smaller ukes. The unique guitar tuning on the baritone makes it more like a nylon string tenor guitar which I also enjoy playing.

Hi Marco lovely sound. I bought a Baritone Ukulele a few years ago and love the deep sound that you get from the big body. However rather than go with the standard tuning of DGBE I tuned it the same as my other Ukuleles GCEA but with low G. This means I only have learn one set chord shapes for all my Ukuleles Concert, Tenor and Baritone. Cool eh! Cheers Kieran

There isn't even that much reverb to be honest. Also, what's "processing"? Using a mic and a mic plug-in is processing? And what about tone, dynamics, and feel? There must be a plugin that adds that too, right?

Sounds awesome but we’ll diverge here……I’m leaning towards Banjolele.
@noth96172 жыл бұрын
I have both and while they both offer very different sounds I would recommend if it’s just to get something different in the family, I recommend baritone. I just get so much more use out of mine. I can play all the same things I already play with it. Unless you’re playing things made specifically for the banjolele it doesn’t sound great. They don’t strum well at all. Very tinny sound (as you would expect from a banjo) so if you have a lot of music at the ready and you love the banjo then go for it. But if you want something you can basically play all you already do on that’s a bit of a novelty and makes you happy I would invest in a baritone before banjolele. (Opposite to the way I did it but I just don’t use it enough or get enough joy out of it to justify the banjolele if I was tossing up between the two).
