This is lovely. I just got a baritone ukulele and am starting with your tutorials because they are so inspiring. I have not played a ukulele before but I play cello (and piano) and studied mandolin for a short while so I am jumping right in. I really appreciate being able to learn some beautiful chord progressions and pieces instead of standard (often boring) beginner stuff.

I got my baritone ukulele a couple years ago and I've been waiting for a video like this. Thank you! This is the first video of yours I'm seeing, so I've yet to explore (subscribed!), but I hope to see more of these evocative moods for the baritone uke! So much of the content out there is for more upbeat, lighthearted stuff which is great, but the lower tones of this instrument lend so well to more subdued themes. 😌

Love this! This will be the first piece I work on when I get my new LoPrinzi Baritone! That's a thought for you- I'm having one built by her to my specs- for about $750.00! Bargain for a custom build, and Donna makes beautiful sounding and playing instruments! African mahogany that I chose from several pieces she had, tortiseshell binding, ebony radiused fingerboard and bridge, Gotoh tuners etc... I currently have a concert by her, it's a great uke! Might be something to consider??

A linear tuned (low G) concert can play the same as a low g tenor. The notes will be higher than the Baritone (as if the Baritone had a capo on the fifth fret).

The baritone is tuned to the same notes as the top four standard strings on a guitar, so you may find this easier to try out on that.
