The care that you take to answer these questions scripturally accurate, compassionately, and rationally is so refreshing Pastor Jesse. ❤

Thank you Brother Jessie! Great video! Eyes up! Proverbs 27:1 “Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.” Mark 8:36 “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of vourselves: it is the GIFT of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Acts 16:31 “And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” Salvation is a FREE GIFT. True gifts are given without obligation and unconditionally. Don’t be left behind by rejecting this free offer. Truthfully, what have you got to lose?

Didn’t watch but prompted to share…😍 When you experience the born again/John 3:3 Transformed Life in Christ, Holy Spirit comes into your life and He gives you wisdom and discernment!!! I have learned over the years that many pastors are not born again so I would pick a nondenominational congregation… Holy Spirit will guide you to the right fellowship!!!!!!!!⚓️⚓️⚓️

Ignorance is bliss, they must be getting enough comfort and/or tickle in their ears to be happy there! People really aren’t educated, but soooo many think they know too much! But even educated people think they know too much; they think better of themselves than what they ought! Follow Christ, the perfect example GOD gave us to follow, not corruptible humans! Whom are you putting all your trust in & whom do you obey? GOD sees & knows! Remember, GOD IS A JEALOUS GOD!

5:50 “We know that it’s not the doing of things that makes one righteous, it’s the motivations behind what we’re doing.” Wow, this is very false. We’re not made righteous by what we do OR by what we say, what we think, not by our motivations or anything from ourselves. God’s perfect righteousness is imputed to us by faith in Christ alone. I know that this channel is clear on the gospel, so this was very weird to hear.🤔

I honestly do not believe Jesse caught what he said or he would have corrected himself. I agree that this channel is clear on the Gospel. I actually had to replay that comment to clearly catch what was said. For new viewers reading this: please give grace. Jesse does preach free grace and that we are saved by the finished work of Christ, His death, burial, and resurrection for the justification of the believer.

@Tdav424 I believe what Pastor Jesse is saying, is that God looks at our heart... not our "checking off of boxes"
@BibleLine17 күн бұрын
I edited this, and I just rewatched it myself. I do not believe that’s the point being made. We obviously agree with you. Yes, faith alone in Jesus Christ is what gives us the imputed righteousness of God. No one is made righteous by their desires, motivations, or choices. The broader point was that legalism is not the way in which you get people to come to church. We should be motivated to come to church, serve, do, etc… because Christ died for my sins. Our righteous standing with God is never changed. I can see how this tripped up some people, but I think the broader point combats the internal error. He is refuting legalism, so it’s odd that he would believe legalism to refute legalism. Anyway, maybe this comment will shed light to whomever sees this video and thinks that phrase through. Thanks guys! - Trent

Jesus baptizes with the Holy Spirit. The Word says: We're baptized by water (through our mother), and by Spirit (via God). The Gospel is 1 Cor 15; 1-4 God bless you all, in Jesus' name. Amen.

I haven’t watched the video just yet, but I’m about to start it. By the way, this is Kayla Randy‘s wife I’m very interested in this video because I was raised missionary Baptist of the American Baptist Association, and which I found out later on after I was saved that it is a cultish type of doctrine they teach. And one of the things they teach is that they are the only ones that come from John the Baptist bloodline, and have the only authority to water, baptized, people for entry into heaven. Which now I know it was wrong, because Pastor Tom Cucuzza even said in one of his videos that he calls him, John, the baptizer for that reason that there are Baptist that claim that. Anyhow, I thought I just share some insight into that denomination I came out of.

To say that Jesus was a Baptist is ridiculous. There were no such thing as baptists back then. In fact there was no such thing as a Christian at that time. I can think of no reason, zero, to stay in such a place, unless you want to be just like that pastor. Seems like a no brainer to me.

I'm confused! How in the world can " the church " go to " church? " The scriptures tell us that true born-again believers are the ' church '. Why would a true born-again christian renounce their true identity in Christ and ascribe their identity unto a building, therefore calling the the building " a church ", the " house of God ", and declaring the building to be " HOLY ", whereas the scriptures teaches us that We ourselves ( true born-again christians) are in fact the building, house , and/or temple of God, and God " DOES NOT " dwell in such places, as He prefers to dwell literally inside the " Body Of Christ! Since these so-called " hypothetical churches " do not teach or declare these truths, it would be remiss not to use discernment to its highest degree, in many areas when addressing such people.
@BibleLine17 күн бұрын
We do understand that the church is the body of Christ, but it just so happens that the physical meeting places we assemble as believers are called “churches…” The point of this video is regarding the buildings, but we are clear to point out legalism vs better motivation. - Trent
