Excuse my rudeness, but would Owl be considered a trans-feminine/non binary trans-woman and Fox a trans-masculine/non binary trans-man when it comes to their treatment at their endocrinologists and therapists...? I’m a transgender woman and have been transitioning for a little over two years now and I’m still learning the ins and outs.

I can't speak for them, but I think those terms are alright, and it's not rude! In my opinion, a person can be labeled both non-binary and trans-masculine/feminine or even trans man/woman, when their gender identity and presentation leans towards male/female but their identity is not binary man or woman. So they are non-binary, bc they don't indentify on the binary, but they are also a trans-man, bc they have transitioned from female to masculine. Some people say non-binary means you "can't also be trans", tho, but I see it more as a sub-category of the trans umbrella.

I'm probably being ignorant and I don't mean to. I have no problem with lgbt people and non binary. I'm just a bit confused, if non binary means you don't see yourself as either gender. that you don't feel you are a man but also not a woman, why reassign genders? being transgender means you're born in the wrong body and see yourself as the opposite gender. how does trans and non-binary connect. could someone explain please? thank you and I hope I haven't caused offence to anyone.

Imagine male is green and female is blue. Now imagine you feel that your more turquoise but think you are currently blue but because of how Society is you actually think your ment to be green. Then you need to go through allot of therapy, operations and that's to become green as you think you are green and to become green that is not you. You was all along turquoise. It's the only way I can explain that one. Also some non binary people also don't want the genitals that they was born with as they are not the part of the person's identity.

Tara for some nonbinary people, they transition because they might not feel like a man or a woman but they identify their body as male or female or they transition to prevent people from identifying them as their birth gender. for instance, im agender but my body is trans male, i plan on fully medically transitioning once i can financially afford to and have already begun legally transitioning. in a world that is very forceful about being binary, sometimes nonbinary people are also forced to "pick a side" as it were, so as to avoid being harassed or hurt. i present as 100% male with he pronouns and all for this reason, its easier to just ignore my lack of gender and go with the "more comfortable of the two"

Can I ask a genuine question? I’m a little confused - I know my partner is non binary and had top surgery? But if you dont feel male or female how did u know you wanted/ need to transistion? I’m genuinely intrested to understand so I can understand the person I’m married. They are they/them too. I hope this doesn’t come across as a cis person being insensitive. I have autism so sometimes I might not understand the bounders of what is ok and not ok to ask. If this is the case , please can you let me know so I know not to ask that sort of question again. X
