I am on the same journey, trying to incorporate some of Dr Huberman's advice. I work a physical job at times and with the shorter winter days I feel drained when I get home. Trying to use these practices to recharge for the early evening. Namaste!

@@nicklongbucco3967 that's awesome man. It really works, doesn't it? I have cancer, and I used it while going through radiation therapy, because I had to work after, and it was the only way I could have enough energy to make it to work. Also, it doesn't hurt that her voice is very soothing and sexy. Just being honest

Beautiful and deeply healing. I am still working on staying awake throughout it, but it does wonders anyway. I have intwgrated some of the concepts into the way I do yin and hatha yoga, as well as in some of my hikes and walks. It really tunes me in to the beautiful present.

Doing regular practice I have experienced something that seems like apnea; I move through the states then at times feel I must take a breath, which has some difficulty. Any experience with this phenomena; is it purely physiologic, or perhaps some obstacle which an Intention might help reveal a deeper level beyond it.

This is my favourite meditation. I am interested to know whether one's chakras can be balanced by this meditation. The other methods I have look a lot different, and a lot more complicated. Are they better or just different ?

Keep doing yoga nidra. Seriously. I teach, and I practice regularly and it's completely turned my life around. Just a few months ago I had debilitating PTSD and insomnia, and now I feel like I have my life back. Do it like 25-45 minutes a day. There's loads of research on how good this is for insomnia, among a plethora of other things.

Why do you not use a Sankalpa?
@perzavil386 жыл бұрын
There was a place to insert a sankalpa near the end she just didn't call it sankalpa rather as an intention or affirmation and guided it as being something you may want to release that is holding you back. It began at 23:13 of the recording.
