Candle Story is the kind that would absolutely make me cry. I personally struggle to remember things, enough to where I can barely remember things from my childhood, and one of my biggest fears is forgetting important things, like the way people look and sound, forgetting what I like to eat, and things like that. Dementia runs in my family, so I guess it’s a reasonable fear. Anyway, I’m off to make like 28 ocs for that universe! You know a story/concept is good when it brings out someone’s emotions, and I really like what you’ve cooked up here!!

In my head: Neon Road is a card based roguelike, with the added quirk that cards become better/worse depending on when you play them in relation to the bg track (ex. some attacks do double damage when played on the base drop, you get a bonus stat buff if the music has piano in it, etc) Think slay the spire meets hi-fi rush’s combo system. Wild Wild West is like an rpg maker game? Or a dnd campaign? Something turn based like final fantasy? Idk that just Feels right. Candle People should be a movie - either a Laika or Cartoon Saloon production, or whoever made gilmoro del toro’s Pinocchio. I can see those character designs in those styles in a creepy kids movie SO well. As an avid OC/story pitch maker, I really love all of yours, and also that all of yours are actually SUPER coherent and well-designed. Also I LOVE your art style!!!

Ok these are all amazing, and I’ve got a place for the Wild West one to go. So my first thought when you said “never ending desert” was where does all the stuff to build the towns and just generally survive come from? Because to me never ending desert spells endless sand and cacti. So what if they come from another dimension? A parallel timeline where the world wasn’t desertified by some apocalypse (I added that to the lore whoops) and everything is lush and green. Mirages are glimpses into this other world, spots where the fabric of time are particularly thin. Back when the timelines first split into lush and desert, the Motherhood discovered that they could use the blood of certain children (maybe magic descendants or they’re just random idk) to open a portal to this other dimension. They kept their secret well and made trips back and forth, gathering resources to build the towns. Since no one else has access to these resources, the Motherhood is able to quickly indebt all the leaders of the towns, and destroy anyone who tries to seek this other world for themselves. The portals only last one year, and they’ve found that there’s something like a 1/100 chance of a child being able to open a portal, so they have 10 children from each of the 10 largest towns brought to them each year (that’s what the robot was looking for). Now, in the other dimension, the desert motherhood found their counterparts and since they’re evil in this dimension, I figure their lush counterparts would be ok with helping them in theirs. They also have to sacrifice a child on their end to fully open the portal (otherwise it’s little which is how they communicated in the first place). Now, I was struck by the similarities between your main protagonists. So I’m thinking, what if they’re the SAME PERSON, from alternate timelines? Child version is from the desert timeline, while bandit version is from the lush timeline. The way the sacrificing works is by draining their life force, so the Motherhood started draining his life force on the lush side but they were interrupted because one of them turned against them! I’m thinking the bandaged person was part of the Motherhood, but since her lush counterpart wasn’t very evil and she wasn’t driven by the desperation to survive, she found empathy for the poor children. She stopped the sacrifice halfway through and while trying to escape, the other cult members attacked her and badly injured her. Later on she’ll have to fight her more desperate evil version. They drained enough life force for the bandit to become an adult and open the portal for a few minutes, so the two of them hop through to escape their side’s Motherhood, and since they warned the desert side Motherhood, every major town is now hunting for them, which has led them to embrace it and become bandits, creating a fun little found family of Robin Hood type outlaws. Along the way, they find his kid version in the desert and recognize him but don’t tell him for fear of idk messing up the timelines. But they all agree to destroy the Motherhood and either close the portals for good (since they now have enough resources to survive the desert) or get everyone through to the lush side. Anyway just a few thoughts :D Also I love the other ideas, I would so play Neon Circle as a rhythm game!! Also RIP I want to participate in the art challenge but alas I don’t have instagram 😔 also also also your brother is very cool and awesome :)

a good exercize in general, but esp for the train story, is to basically do what you're doing, but with all the relevent characters. whats their backstory, what are they trying to accomplish, what do they need to get there, what challenges are there? how are their actions and beliefs called into question? why was the tipping point for the one lady to question if she's doing the right thing? why'd she start in the first place? what happens if she decides its wrong, decides to stop partaking, or decides to go against the system? what does she gain and what does she lose from each choice she makes? when you get everyone figured out as individuals, find the opportunities for them to overlap with other characters, maybe they agree and work together, or agree but work towards the same goal individually, maybe they disagree and try to stop the other, or maybe they disagree and decide to not engage. a common trope for this is making a truce, a temporary deal, or disagreeing but respecting the other person, and letting them get away. also, working against something or someone doesnt always have to be overt. many people who worked against nazis did so by ''putting some sand in the cogs''. not everything has to be flashy to have an impact. it just has to be something. also, someone who's basically half metal in the dessert might have some issues. in FMA, Ed suffers pain from his metal arm for multiple reasons, if it's too hot or cold, the metal against his skin hurts. it hurts to take it off but he has to to do maintenance, and it hurts putting back on. how does the metal affect the kids ballance, speed? how does the weight of the metal effect the rest of his skeletal system? the body is a system made of parts that work together. foot problems can affect the knees, the hips, sometimes the entire spine system. maybe its just my only point of reference, but i feel like understanding joint dysplasia (after understanding amputee experiences) will help. i have hip dysplasia, my thigh bones don't always sit in the hip sockets correctly, resulting in a dry grinding pain ranging from consistent soreness to stabbing pain if i move my leg. usually its fine, if its an issue, sometimes i can pop it back, sometimes it takes days. how long have they had the metal parts? how are they attached, how do they work, how often does maintenance need doing and what does that look like, how long does it take, what is the experience like while the parts are being fixed up? what about stuff like sweat and sand? the author of FMA talked to people from many backgrounds, and observed them. even with magic and technology, Ed is still disabled. imo, Scrappy is too. its important to know what that experience is like for Scrappy, for real life people like him. tl; dr, do what you're doing but ask your characters questions about their goals and values, make them question their beliefs and actions, find how their stories can connect and make them connect. and learn about amputees and joint dysplasia people's experiences. id love to enjoy any of these stories

I kinda got an idea of how the Desert Pirates and the kid meet/team up. What if the group was a sort of selfish Robin Hood group. Instead of stealing from the rich and giving from the poor, they steal from the towns to stick it to the Motherhood (and get money/have fun along the way). They stumble upon the kid while on the run, and through some way (unknown yet) the kid winds up joining them on the run. Once in the safety of the desert, or the hideout of the pirates, the cyborg kid is energetic (nervous or ecstatic), talking about his experience with the Motherhood and how the Desert Pirates can (or have to) help the children who were taken. Initially the leader refuses, cause obviously that's a death sentence, but after some time with the kid, and some thought on his plea, he cooks up a plan. Because of course, all the towns respond to the Motherhood. If the Motherhood wants something, they'll get it from the towns, which means there is a lot of loot to be ripped from their grasp. Of course the children also take priority, because who knows? Maybe the Desert Pirates leader and the kid form a sort of relationship like the Jim Hawkins and Long John Silver relationship in Treasure Planet. Of course, since it's still a mission that screams suicide, the rest of the pirates might be skeptical, or nervous. Some may object to the plan or all out refuse, maybe along the way a member of the gang betrays them or just straight up leaves. That's all I've got so far after watching the video, hope this helps build the story!

I would play the Neon Circle game tbh It seems like it would be a really cool rhythm game Edit: I finished the video and first of all, an interesting thing for the wild west one would be the pov of a robot, possibly one of the ones taking a group of kids to be sacrificed, breaking away from their programming and trying to protect the kids while not getting caught doing so out of fear of getting scrapped. Secondly: you asked for original stories and I have one. Two people decide to explore sone ancient ruins. One dies along the way and one disappears into the ruins. The main character is a hiker who, upon hearing a signal calling for help on his radio, enters the ruins again. He follows the instructions of the voice on the radio until he finds a corpse. He helps the ghost on the radio, who I will start calling Ghost because no one has names yet, realize that she's dead. Ghost thinks that she's a ghost because she has unfinished business. Her girlfriend, who was the one who disappeared into the ruin, is still stuck in there and she assumes that if she saves her she'll be able to see her girlfriend again and be able to pass on. However, it is eventually revealed that the true reason she's a ghost is because of a artifact she found and picked up when her and her girlfriend first entered. The idea for this is an rpg where the main character and Ghost venture deeper into the ruins, learning about a dark magic that twists creatures and makes them evil. Along the way they meet others. A robot who was originally sent to destroy the ruin but, after short-circuiting due to lightning, decided to instead try to learn all they can. In the end Ghost's girlfriend is corrupted by the magic and becomes the final boss. Sorry for talking so much about this. Also, good job with the bar Clouditto's brother! It was really cool! :)

ima try and build on these storiess a bit the neon circle- (the music for this segment is a banger btw) there isnt much for me to add considering its the most figured out one here, but if i think of anything i'll come back and edit this comment. however, to add on to the idea of a rhythm game, there can be a feature or a bit of gameplay where rant tries to write a song. possibly before he meets demon dude again, i dont have much ideas, but seeing more of this world and the character designs you mentioned might help a bit. the wild west- an idea for a point of view is a family member (probably a teen child or younger sibling, someone younger who depends on the mayor) of a mayor. this relative disagrees with the motherhood and their actions and runs away, then they are discovered and taken in by epick cowboy desert pirate. also, the desert pirate guy is terrible at gambling. that last bit was just a completely random trait that popped up in my head. candle thing- i have no idea lemme spew something random uhh maybe candle people have some sort of connection to fire in general, based off their moral stance and selfishness. for example, they can be opposed to forest fires due to empathy and a love for nature, cause forest fires because it helps their candles not... die.. or somewhere in between. maybe shadow goobers are opposed to fire and light. makes sense, i think as for the art challenge, im gonna do it. i sont have instagram, but if i decide to share my candle/shadow things its probably gonna be on my community tab or something. also also also, your brother is 𝒸ℴℴ𝓁𝒾ℴ

The neon circle before the dude met the demon could explore how dystopian that society is, how so many talented people get unheard of or silenced, maybe the main caracter got stabbed because a lover or friend "mysteriously" disapeared after finding out some truths about the neon circle, and when the main caracter decided to do the same to try and find them or at least just finding them they got assasinated. The person that tried to murder him is the main villains assasin that takes care of those too close to the truth, and when they find out he lived and is now with a demon (the villain also has one), they try to sabotage every concert and song to try to stop them from finding the truth (I imagine in the songs some kill or damage buttons would appear as well as random events, like your screen sudently being covered in paint, or shaking, or gets darker or lighter, etc. The plot twist at the end is that the main villain IS a demon, and the demon that helped the main caracter survive was getting hunted by that demon, and so helped the protagonist as a means to survive, it ends with a really sick boss fight with heavy metal rock music and a cool choir in latin

One random idea that popped up in my head recently is a Parkour Civilisation AU where, instead of the entire society functioning off of parkour, it's dancing. Basically, there are 2 types of dancing: performative dancing and competitive dancing. Performative dancing is the classic "dance in front of a crowd of people and hope they like it" kind, which has been heavily overshadowed by competitive dancing, which generally consists of having 2 competitors dance to different songs at the same time, eventually having one of them succumb to the other's song and moves. But, of course, with extreme popularity come the official competitions... introducing the OCDC (Official Competitive Dancing Championships), the most popular and prestigious competitive dancing competition of all! It works on a (sorta) king of the hill system where lots of competitors fight their way to the top to have the chance to challenge the previous year's champion and take his title. As such, said champion is forced to defend his title year after year until he loses it, which is why most champions let themselves get beaten after a year or two because they quickly get tired of defending their title, and oftentimes they just wanted it for bragging rights anyway. That is until, 6 years ago, the actual champion got his hands on the title and hasn't moved from there since. A team of 5 competitive group dancers (a slightly less popular variant of competitive dancing) think this is a problem, since now new promises won't be able to rise to the top. So, they go to the lower layer to look for someone with potential to dethrone the champion. This is where Evbo, our protagonist, comes in. He lives in the lower layer, where nearly everything that happens above them is merely a rumor or urban legend. The only thing they know for certain is that the people up there really like making each other dance by dancing, which they try and miserably fail to replicate and, whenever they break the rules, they get put up for "adoption" to the upper layer people and whoever gets chosen is then attuned (the process of making someone dance with you) and taken away, never to return. Evbo has broken a rule and is now up for adoption. A member of the group takes an interest on him and tries to attune him. However, Evbo happens to have the unique ability of singing while dancing, which allows him to attune him instead. This proves to the group that he has potential and they then use the power of friendship (pulling off a 5v1 against him) to forcefully drag him to the upper layers and train him to eventually defeat the champion. By the end of the story, it's revealed that the most unassuming member of the group was the champion all along (after proper foreshadowing, of course :)). Somehow, not even the other members of the group knew about this, despite his face having been plastered all over national TV for the last 6 years (that's a plot hole I still have to fix...XD). Epic battle ensues, Evbo is about to lose, but then remembers a tiny detail about him which allows him to gain the upper hand and dethrone him once and for all. PD: I also thought about a filler episode where the main cast go camping in the middle of the forest and they tell a spooky story around the campfire about a monster. Monster turns out to be real, cliché slasher movie shenanigans ensue until they find out that the monster was actually nice and just so happened to look menacing and liked playing tag... XD

These stories are all great, I feel like The Wild Wild West and the last one have an incredible amount of potential both in a narrative and a philosophical way. The WiWiWe (I wanted to shorten The Wild Wild West into "The WWW" but "The WiWiWe" is too funny to not use) could really easily branch into an analysis and critique of modern society, drawing parallels between our world and WiWiWe's desert. I could really see a twist reveal showing that The Motherhood doesn't actually have any supernatural powers and all it does is achieved only through social manipulation, tugging the strings of the web they built themselves. The candle story could really easily delve into the human nature and explore the inner machinations of the human mind or other concepts like the meaning of life and how immortality kind of strips it away by removing the thing that made it precious in the beginning: it's fragility. The Shadows could expand on the concept of immortality by reflecting on the idea of willingly sacrificing your own humanity to achieve immortality but erasing all trace of the soul behind the desire in the process, rendering the Shadow nothing but a walking corpse, a person to mourn while still technically alive. I really hope you actually develop these ideas into full fledged stories because I NEED to see where they go.

For the last story, I think it could be cool if that once the shadow guy starts regaing his memories, he starts to become little by little more insane and ends up trying to kill the girl. Or he does, and afterward, he tries to find a way to bring her back. Or he doesn't and the girl becomes a shadow person or, by some miracle, the shadow guy didn't fully finish her off and she now has to confront him and there could be this fight scene or sorry scene and the shadow guy and the girl eventually make up. Or the shadow guy realizes he is too dangerous and will most likely hurt the girl again that he locks himself away so that he can never hurt anyone again or something like that.

Building on to the idea that the motherhood are hiding something (also the idea of there being ai robots roaming around) perhaps the motherhood is some kind of futuristic projection or mirage of some kind representing a higher power, or possibly another world or planet which is using the whole desert place as a ‘social experiment’ of kinds to see how life flares in an environment as dry and desolate as (wherever that desert is lol). Perhaps the offerings/sacrifices could be orders carried out by the projections/higher power as an attempt of population control or something. Idk just an idea since I think your story ideas are really cool!!

One of yall gotta make the first one, like he's on a stage kinda like fnf but u gotta time each strum to fight off the demons, and every 'night' (so one band fight) you get a little animated cutscene of you just walking around after the thing, talking to the others, or a little spice of lore. And when u finish the game you walk into the locker room (after you press OK to like an end game thing that says it'll go all down hill from there blah blah blah) one or the main players that u beat at the end is at a sink, and you catch the same mark of greed. Then you find out more people have it thru one off interactions. After gathering all the marked players, you make a band and fight off the demon lord person whatever who's angry that their contracts (or the fine print of disallowing any interaction with other marked people) Has been broken and its all rlly cinematic and rlly fun and you have to time each players instrument. Idk js a thought, tell me if ur gonna make it I'd love to see a game like that Oh edit: Maybe that if you name ur 'band name' Neon Circle' then you can get into the endgame fight. Maybe with the stage too it's all turned to rubble but the lights that remain, and they show up into the gloomy, blood red sky, with white text as 'the neon circle' in like some rlly cool font or smth. And so the demon king sees that and blah blah blah. I might make some ideas for how it would work as drawings but I don't have discord T-T (maybe that you can name at the end ur band of the group the neon circle and like in undertale it says 'are you sure about this? It'll make ur life a living hell' and if u don't then the game just goes on like usual as you fight fan made maps or whatever) Edit no 2 CLOUD PLA NOTICE ME AND MAKE THIS PLSSSS And maybe put my name as the 'half idea maker'? I have an idea for the train story. Like u said, one of the sisters could begin to question her actions are go against the other members of the motherhood. I think it would be cool if the sister that did this was the same sister on board with the scrap-metal kid that might in the train. The reason she goes against her fellow sisters is because she sees first-hand the terrible things they do, from sacrificing orphans to other potential stuff, like corruption in the government (seeing as how the mayors must be sworn in something to do with the government is bound to happen), exploitation of others or something else. A conflict the character could have is that she knows that what she’s doing is bad, but she’s been raised as a sister, taught at every moment that what their doing is right, just, and the a “great truth”, so the ends might justify the means. It would come to an end when she finally realizes that their is no “great truth” their is only power and lies that the motherhood tells others. Another idea I had was about the desert gang. They could all tie into the “get rid of the motherhood” plan since they’re all misfits. Like I said before, the motherhood’s connection with the governing bodies of this region should be touched upon, and the way I see it happening is that the people of the region are kept unknowing, poor, and with little power. The people are unknowingly having their freedom taken away. The desert pirates are those who have been wronged by the system, and now seek to take revenge against it. And since the root of the problem is the motherhood, then that’s who the primary target is. Again, these are just suggestions. Lemme know what y’all think.

Since you encouraged us to talk about our story ideas, here are some of mine! >:3 1. A modern fantasy story that mixes various elements from fictional worlds and separates them into 7 kingdoms. Basically this world works via 7 lanterns spread throughout the world that bring harmony but at the same time keep them separate. A war broke out that shattered the lanterns around the world, with one of them ending up in the hearts of 7 children. These children are now hunted one by one because they have a part of the lanterns, and after meeting each other they decide to talk to the lanterns and make the world a better place. The characters are based on toys I had as a child and each of them is a color of the rainbow (that's why the number 7 is always present). There is also a cult of an ancient lantern wielder who wants to use the lanterns to destroy the world and recreate it in her image. The story is a commentary on society and discrimination and how cruel and messed up our world is and that things can be better if there is hope and love. 2. A world where all the inhabitants are magical animals, the world was created by a bestial chimera who after dying, his heart started life in this world, and his body became the world (Like the titan from the owl house)In this world there is discrimination based on superstitions, which includes the two protagonists, a butterfly and a bat. Both are seen as bad omens, the butterfly being seen as a symbol of death and the bat being seen as a bloodthirsty plague. They are both extremely different but the same in some ways, and they are not the only ones. The plot is that a famous inventor plans to absorb the magic in the world to bring back his mother, and this can be a problem because a lot in this world works based on magic. But the plot also takes place most of the time in a magical school. 3. This story takes place in a future where several planets were devastated by a cosmic entity and had to evacuate and create an artificial planet together. The main story revolves around two human brothers who were separated in childhood and after returning discover that they have a power that only other species are capable of using. They are then found by a secret military group called the Stargazers who ensure order on their artificial planet. The story focuses on the brothers reconnecting as they deal with villains who want them for their rare power and discover more about who they are and who their father was and why he abandoned them. It's a science fantasy story. The two protagonists are based on the sun and moon. I've already started this story and it's available on Wattpad and Tapas under the name Stargazers: Gemini. 4. In a cyberpunk world there are robots that are programmed to do whatever their owners want, but there is also a game in which when they receive one of these robots they will have to participate in a battle royale. The protagonist is a man without hope and dreams who finds the game randomly and decides to participate without knowing what would happen, being paired with a malfunctioning robot that seems independent and rebellious. One detail is that these battle robots come with skills based on what the participants put in the game registration, but in the case of the protagonist, they came without any skills. But during a fight it is revealed that this robot can copy the ability of other robots. It's based somewhat on Fate and Mirai Nikki, with the characters using phones to locate other participants and to receive challenges in the game, and the robots functioning as servants in Fate. That's it for now ;3

Ok so, since you got to rant about some of your stories and characters, I guess I’ll rant about mine. Here’s what I have so far: Story 1 (most recent story); after being hit by an ice cream truck, a young woman by the name of Sara is sent to purgatory. She is then approached By death and is given two choices, either wait to go to the great beyond or become a reaper. Sara decides to become a reaper and is given a work contract to sign. Afterwards she is given a reaper partner to mentor her and help her with her new job. Her mentor is a much older reaper by the name of ichabod, a friendly old skeleton with a song in his heart and a passion for murder ballads. Story 2 (grimstone): I don’t have any character drawings for this one, but I thought I would share it, given that it’s a Wild West story and all. In a small western town known as grimstone, vampires ravage the land outside and do all kinds of bad stuff. Luckily, there are a few vampire hunters (dubbed slayers) that can help with this particular problem. A former slayer turned inn keeper, tired 40 year old Esmeralda Valdez wants nothing to do with her previous job (some stuff went down that resulted in her young son and husband being murdered). However, all of this changes when Esmeralda’s rebellious, wannabe slayer daughter is kidnapped by a vampire noble. Bitter yet determined, Esmeralda (with the help of some unlikely allies) does everything in her power to get her daughter back. Story three (maid cafe vs playboy bunny casino): this would be a girls with guns story, involving the ongoing turf war between a maid cafe chain and a playboy bunny casino. Lots of black comedy and kind of similar to kill la kill. I would also think to characters (a maid and a playboy bunny) would defect and try to stop it. That’s all I got. There are some other stories in my mind, but those are the ones I wanted to do. I love your stories and how much time you put into them. I think my favorite might be the neon circle. I’d love to draw a character for that. As for the oc challenge, I don’t know if I could do it. I do have insta but I like to view art rather than post. But still! Thank you for your story work and I’m looking forward to seeing what’s next. Also, your brother is cool and awesome!

I had an odd fantasy story about a girl named Bird who decided to befriends with a Warlock only for her town to be destroyed by him and also taking her soul .Now she is on a quest to find the warlock, stop the curse that she now has and also prevent the world from ending.The curse is Bird can randomly turn invisible which is extremely suspicious as humans in this world cannot be magic users.Furthermore the world is split into four different parts. The Helo is the main power , having a more utopian fantasy setting but with corrupt officials who are legally required to execute those who are wicks (wicks are people who are part warlock , part anything else) .Magic is allowed in Helo but up to a certain level.Helo is very powerful in its army and is highly respected in its political circles.Helo architecture is inspired by Ancient Rome. The second section is Hades .Hades is known for being the complete opposite of Helo.Crime circles control the whole sector and rules are nonexistent.It kind of has a cold dark fantasy look , with everything being covered in snow. Thrid is Hayven .It’s people are all in a cult called the Eyes of F.It’s helps with agricultural production and supplies everything to neighbouring countries such as Helo , Hades and Hydra.If Hayven stops production all the other countries get deeply affected(Except Hades , they are making produce in underground greenhouse which help with making fresher produce)((Also most of Hades technology had advanced rapidly making it in theory easier to take over the other countries which rule over this world)).Lastly Hydra .Think of it as a mix between Helo with its utopia lifestyle and Hades with crime.Also it has the nice sea where pirates roam and steal valuable objects from tourists.Hydra has two different cultures which hate each others guts,Civil War had broken out many times because of this .First the Wizard Council and magic users .Secondly the Anglers who were the first settlers of Hydra.Now in the story they have established a peace treaty between each side. Bird and her friends , which she makes along the way, decide to find out more about the curse as well as all of their own past as they all visit the different countries. That’s all that I have done so far for the story. I did make a prequel idea where two teenagers find this world but also awaken the Warlock who befriended Bird.
