And don't get me wrong, there's also creepy women - like old ladies trying to touch your baby wtf, but those usual aren't physically strong enough to make you fear them. i'm surprised HR didn't find a way to flip it back on you, given the bizarre excuses men find to victim blame women. Like at this point, i wouldn't be surprised if guys said "well, she came out of her mom's womb so, clearly [the most uncontroversially horrible act you can imagine] is actually her fault!"
@chukyuniqul2 ай бұрын
HR is widely a men's nightmare, since unless you're dealing with a corrupt pig for a boss, HR being majorly women they side with one another, hence why all the horror stories of being fired over fabricated allegations. Hell, if your boss is a specific breed of corrupt pig (the pretend-liberal) it still won't matter. Also imma be honest: I have only ever seen men "victim blame" when there was no victim at all, or present. Like women have a public, general conversation on the topic of assault and are spiraling into fearmongering and absurdist thoughts and some guy pops up with a common sense statement (i.e. don't accept drinks from a stranger or avoid bad areas at night or don't look like a victim-to-be) and they're called victim blamers even though the circumstances discussed are hypotheticals. Now, I'm old enough to know this is because the women are talking about traumas and things that have happened to them or their friends without saying it out loud, but that's a) not the case for everyone and b) not obvious to the man. So you can't go and act like he was acting in full knowledge. I don't doubt there's people whp victim blame, with men being more likely to have egregious outlandish takes on the topic, but I really think the number is overinflated.

I have a theory about that. So you know how people are biologically wired to want to have children? since things can go wrong in the brain leading to autism, ADHD ect, I'm guessing that something went wrong with those parts of the brain, mixing sexual desires, with that desire, leading to an attraction to minors. If this is the case, then it might be able to get tested and cured, thus preventing pedos. Again, this is just a theory of biology, I'm likely completely wrong and these guys just chose to be creeps to minors.

It really needs to be taught more that if you are being sexually harassed, you NEED to go elsewhere immediately. Don't ever keep things in the company, report and leave receipts. It's depressing that when someone feels uncomfortable and they are young, they don't feel like they can do anything because they don't know how to handle it. I'm 17 and working at a Burger King. Two of my former coworkers were creepy men. One left because of family issues, and the other got fired for his behavior The first guy was someone I had known since my first day working there. I've been working there for about a year now, so I was 16 at the time. He came off as odd to me, but I still treated him nicely so I wouldn't be seen as rude or anything like that. He'd always try to suck up to me. For example, he'd sing songs, show off his ability to mimic cartoon character voices, and when he found out that I'm a Mormon, he'd preach to me about stuff that I already know (He doesn't even go to church anymore). We closed together twice (two people close every night, so it was just me and him), and I was worried he'd try to do something to me. Thankfully, he didn't. One day, my boss approached me and told me that others were complaining to her that this guy was saying inappropriate stuff to me, which absolutely shocked me. I had no recollection of him ever saying anything to me, and I still don't know to this day. I've always been oblivious to flirting and stuff like that, so I always brushed everything he said off as him trying to be friendly in a weird way. I've asked my other coworkers what it was that he may have said to me, and all they said was that it was stuff that he shouldn't be talking about with girls my age. Ugh... If only I was able to understand when someone's trying to get too close and personal with me. A few months later, he ended up leaving because his ex-wife was trying to get his money or smth like that (I don't know all the details). I guess a lot of the people I work with who knew him didn't ever like him at all and all agreed that he was creepy. There was one time when he tried to remove my headset from my head, but I politely declined. That was probably the creepiest he ever got with me (that I actually remember) The second guy was a bit more discreet about it, but when I found out about everything he's done... Oh, boy... So, this guy got hired a little while after the first guy left. We were on good terms for the longest time, but there were lots of times when I didn't feel like talking to him because he's way older than me and I don't quite trust him all the way. Anyway, he would try to keep the dirty talk to a minimum when I was around and stuff, which I thought was nice. Eventually, it came to a point where my friend (who worked with me for a short while and goes to school with me) started making claims against him. He had disrespected her opinion on a serious topic because he's older than her. He seemed to believe that teenagers' opinions don't matter when the opposing side is an adult. My friend wrote up an entire statement with things said by other people we worked with about things that he had done. Sometime before he got fired, he did two things to me that I didn't like. The first thing he did was claim that I am not a real follower of the Bible because I study the Book of Mormon too. I didn't say anything back to him because I didn't want to fight back. Not to mention, my boss was there, so I didn't want to start anything (I'm also just not that kind of person). The second thing he did was show me a picture he had on his phone of my boss in her bra. I should've told my friend to put that in her statement. My friend let me read her statement, and oh my gosh... First of all, he was creepy to all the female employees. He suggested that the female uniform should be changed to bikinis, suggested to another former co-worker of mine (who I respect deeply) that he should wait until I turn 18 then start dating me (Thankfully, the cool guy said no), then told this same guy (who has a twin sister) that if he would do some nasty stuff to the sister if he were in the womb with her. Long story short, he got fired after this statement was shared to the higher-ups Now there's another guy who call me and two other underaged girls that I'm working with "Mama". He had a discussion with me about this movie I watched called "Adam" (It's based on a true story and stars Aaron Paul, who played Jesse Pinkman in "Breaking Bad") because I had seen boobs in the movie. Not appropriate at all, especially since I'm a minor. I'm going to keep a close eye out for this new guy and pray that something doesn't happen with him too

I don't have the mindset, let alone the balls to do these things. I have a hard time even talking to strangers, despite being a muscular man in my twenties, let alone harass them this way. But then again, I was raised this way, had been traumatised into being an introvert so maybe that has to do with it. I am only able to these bold things if I'm online but I still don't do it. I treat women like men, I do not talk more than necessary, try to be honest and friendly as I can And as a gray person myself, don't hate on your look. I thankfully, have never had something like this happen to me aside from the strange comments boys at school have given me about my, ahem, "large boobs" however, I really hope I don't have to go through any of that and you shouldn't have gone through that either. I'm happy your in a better place now, a better work environment and hopefully the amount of support you get outweighs the weird-ass men that are in your comment section occasionally. Sending love from another fellow Canadian 💕

I am still in school and I recently wrote an essay about girlhood and feeling the rush to grow up and losing your innocence because of society around me. A segment was also deidcated to creepy men and women and I deeply resonated with you when you said “They feel the need to touch you or your hips” and the feeling of helplessness after SA. I felt sad after I wrote the essay because I never dove that deep and acknowledged the weirdos and society in general to little girls. Tysm for this videos Ilysm and you’re such an inspiration to me ❤

It took me around two years to 'get over' my two SA moments. I completely understand the feeling of helplessness, and with that usually comes blame, guilt shame and that gross feeling like the person is still there. It's awful, and it angers me that women go through this every single day. When will the world be better :/ Great video ❤

I am a very touchy person, but I always make sure my friends are comfortable and alright with me touching them, and if they seem uncomfortable I either stop or ask if theyre okay. People should not be touchy with strangers though, the most I do with strangers is a simple handshake if im meeting someone.

"Creepy Women" exist. I worked as a banquet caterer: we had a *_highschool_* football award cermony one of my cowerkers, a woman in her 40s, kept talking about how "hot the guys were," and "she's gonna try to get some numbers," and "maybe they like older women." I told her "never say creepy shit like that in front of me again."
