You cant plead guilty if you've already statements on the record that indicate your innocence (or at least that indicate that you THINK you're innocent). It's technically not that you CAN'T plead guilty after making those statements, it's that you won't receive a plea deal from the prosecutor because it would be misconduct for a prosecutor to offer a plea deal to a criminal defendant in an attempt to get them to plead guilty to a crime that the defendant has said on the record they are innocent of. Ethically, the judge would also be unable to accept or allow the plea deal for the same reasons. If a suspect has said they are innocent of a crime, it would be illegal to not give them the option (or try to convince them with a plea deal) to have a hearing and trial. So when the defendant said "I didn't even know I was trespassing on private property/I didn't mean to walk onto that man's private property," the defendant has claimed to be innocent of one of the factors of criminal trespass that MUST be true in order for someone to be guilty of criminal trespass.

Finally!! A judge who states the law about jurisdiction-- “ if a defendant thinks, states that the court does not have jurisdiction for his case :: IT IS THE DEFENDANT WHO MUST PROVE WHY THE COURT DOESN’ T HAVE JURISDICTION! NOT THE COURT!! “ Why every court case I have seen never tells the defendant this I don’t know! For example- the d brooks case. That judge Darrow, let brooks yelled screamed.. at her for 3 weeks “ you gotta prove jurisdiction and so does the State.!” He yelled that a million times a day. All the judge had to say is “ the law states if YOU think the court doesn’t have jurisdiction then YOU must prove that it doesn’t! I do not have to prove anything. You do! “ that’s the law. If Darrow would have told db that she would have saved not only the victims ,the viewers but also herself from being yelled at several times every day !! Db repeated it over and over “ jurisdiction has to be proven for the record....” NO IT DOES NOT Darrow did say “ you have misunderstood the law..” but she should have told him the law. She did hold law school every morning for him anyway when she was not suppose to give him any legal advice. She taught him every day about the law. Why, idk that either he was suppose to be treated as an attorney but she never did him that the entire trial!! She always said “ well since he’s representing himself I’ll allow it.,! “ Getting his way which fueled him further, and he knew it and took advantage of it every time. He used it against her every day. But if me, a nobody, got to hear that law even I would have felt better and knew db was repeating crap even though we knew he was but to actually recite the law would have meant a lot . But this judge here says it within a minute and why doesn’t every judge do this? They don’t know the law? I do not accept that they don’t know. And with darrow, she had written her decision which included that law but refused to say it outloud. Why? She never told the public her response. Only fb knew but he really didn’t because he never read it he tore it up after he saw the camera on him. He tore her ruling up right in front of her,the entire courtroom and the camera! How defiant!! But thanks for this judge!
