I'm 58 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for…

Isn't it interesting how billionaires often brainwash people into believing that chasing money isn't the path to happiness? The truth is, while money itself might not bring happiness, it does provide security and freedom. These billionaires are securing wealth for future generations, and one thing they all have in common is that they’re investors. It’s crucial for people to take their financial literacy seriously and consider smart investment like stocks, bond and real estate. It really can work for you and help you build the financial future you deserve.

Out of all the things I have done and gone thru after 25yrs of marriage and 4 kids. The most stressful has been illness within the family. Mom got sick and died. Tore the whole family apart to the point that none of us talked to each other for 4yrs. Today some talk some don’t. Basically the family was never the same and all due to disagreements in care. Most failed to recognize she was dying and there was nothing anyone could do. As the youngest my father couldn’t deal with the responsibility and told me to make the decisions. I did and I asked all my siblings but none of them wanted to hear it. In the end my wife, kids and I stood by my mother alone, did the best we could until she passed. I lost my job afterwards for taking too much time off. Lost my family and I am crying typing this up. At least i have my wife and kids and that’s all that matters to me. Just like the old man in this video said at 3:00. Illness is the most stressful and I wouldn’t want to wish it on my worst enemy. Wishing health and prosperity to anyone that reads this.

I'm so sorry to hear the sadness from your loss. But I concur... I walked in similar shoes and cried many tears in the aftermath of my Mother's death. I too was the primary caretaker for my Mom, and with little support, I made 80% of the decisions as well as the 90% of her physical care. I was married to my husband of over 40 years and had 5 grown children. Unfortunately, my husband's brother took ill and died before my Mother. I myself have health issues which have compounded his ability to meet my needs. This led him to spiral with behaviors manifesting to alienation, blame shifting, ghosting, and discard. It caused divisions in my family dynamics and my marriage is now over. I still have some children who talk to me and have one son out of three who takes care of me. My husband and I weathered many storms, but this storm took him out. Rebuilding my life now without him and the future I no longer have with him. Like you I wouldn't wish what I have experienced on my enemies. Good health to you too!

If you're a teacher, fire fighter, police officer, construction worker, etc... most people need to retire and find something else to do with their time if they want to keep working. You are no longer going to be effective at work. This guy owns his own business. That's a different story entirely. If he was an executive at a company with a 40 year old CEO, then we would be hearing an entirely different story. I can guarantee that.

@@jm7804 You're absolutely right. But when we speak of continue working, nobody says that it has to be the profession you've learned. In my opinion it is important that you work. What you do is secondary. You need something that makes you want to get up the next day.

Very nice job covering the basics. I am sharing this not to brag but to show what’s possible. I’m retired and I have 2 separate portfolios. One is a long term growth dividend portfolio of stocks where i sell covered calls strategically and my 2nd portfolio is the Crypto trading strategy where its all about income. This year I am on pace to make $120K in realized options profits and around $869K in crypto profit... What is great is that my long-term portfolio is still up significantly as well. As such, it’s possible to generate excellent income but still have a total return perspective. ...Amidst this, the insights of a knowledgeable guide like that of Expert Shellane Maxwell can be crucial. Her expertise in navigating the nuances of trading has been the key for Me understanding and making the most of these emerging financial trends.

Retired at 55 with $1.4M (60/40 split of stocks and bonds) liquid assets and about $300K in a paid off property/lot in Hawaii that I never built on. I'm now 57, have $1.5M liquid and am about to list the lot for $400k so I match this scenario pretty closely. Our budget since I retired was $9.2K/mo and we've spent only $8k on avg even with 6 months of global travel, a year living in Hawaii and golfing twice a week and some domestic travel. I too got similar (poor) results from my retirement planner but there was no way I would've kept working in a high stress job working 65hrs/wk average because of hypothetical scenarios and probabilities as we're highly adaptable... who in their right mind wouldn't cut back in discretionary expenses during a major recession? Besides, as long as you don't sell or do something dumb in a down market, historically they bounce back in 6 months on avg, maybe a year worst case so you just need to have about 1-2 yrs worth of cash (in a High yield MM) to live off of. At my age, worst case is I get a part-time job at Walmart or get a remote gig where I can work in my PJ's for a year to fund my discretionary spends and hobbies. My highly probable backup plan is to get travel health insurance for $500/mo for both me and my wife where we have to live abroad for 6 months and in the US for 6 months for a year or two. Already got quotes and can save $0.5 - 1k/mo in health insurance and travel abroad half the year. There are too many options to list but my advice is to retire as early as you can and be flexible. Is about financial literacy and great a financial advis0r

Congrats, and spot on! I too am planning for around 55-56 retirement. The value of adding extra years early in retirement when you are most vibrant and active can't be overstated. The key is going in to retirement with a good financial planner, a good grasp of your real expense needs, and ideally having no debt over your head. And of course being able to adapt spending in cases of down markets etc. Glad you are living your best retirement life. Looking forward to joining your club!

That's really great. I've tried doing some research myself to hire a financial advisor, but it's really overwhelming. Could you recommend who you work with please?

I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Brooke Grace Miller.

The very first time we tried, we invested $1000 and after a week, we received $5500. That really helped us a lot to pay up our bills.

He reminds me so much of Larry King, and that's a great thing. Wow, I seriously didn't even know the owner of the World Trade Center was still alive, and at 93, he's really seen a lot. When he said that you have to get involved in doing things where you can make a positive impact, that resonated with me, because in the past two years, I've gotten involved with many amazing things that have allowed me to not only make a positive impact, but also let myself grow as a person. What an incredible man he is, very hard-working, and dedicated. What an amazing video this was.

Great video! I really have a question. For someone with less than $5,000 to invest, how would you recommend we enter the crypto market? I am looking at studying some traders and copying their strategy rather than investing myself and losing money emotionally. What's your take on this approach?
@elizabethella22493 ай бұрын
My advice: for newbies to grow financially this year, invest. Saving is good, but investing elevates your finances. Why newbie make huge losses on trade is because investing without proper guidance can lead to mistakes and losses. that will stop you from trading, this has been one of the biggest problem to new traders, I've learned this from my own experience.
@matthew46483 ай бұрын
I agreed, investing without proper guidance can lead to mistakes and losses. last year. I did so many mistakes but also learned so much from it, If you're new to investing or don't have much time, it's best to get advice from an expert.

@matthew46483 ай бұрын
As a beginner, it's essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable. Myself, I'm guided by Daniel Adams Bailey. for years and highly recommend him I focus on him. To be honest, I almost didn't buy the idea of letting someone handle growing my finance, but so glad I did.

I am less interested in the millionaires and billionaires. They all essentially say the same things that we all pretty much know. What I am more interested in are interviews with their spouse(s) and children. The fact is that very few have loving, respectful admiring families because the 'success' came at the sacrifice of them. Just ask Steve Jobs.
