I decided to see if it's possible for AI to build for me in Minecraft. I tested ChatGPT and Google Bard to find out which one creates the best builds, and if those builds are even... any good.

I somehow misunderstood how AI was used in this project since I was looking at something else. I thought that AI was actually replacing the user completely and placing the blocks on its own. So....what would have to happen for AI and some programming to allow AI to ENTIRELY create a house or some structure with NO input from the user? How far are we away from this...weeks....a year?

I think you misinterpreted when it said to add spruce planks leaving 1 block gap,I think it meant at the sides of the area and not the top

Exactly. Building around the foundation is going to be on the ground, not on the top, that’s why it’s called a ‘foundation’. Then the next step on the corners would have built up, then you’d have a frame for the roof that it wanted you to build. I’d be interested to see what the house would look like in that case, think it would have looked pretty traditional actually. Funny though :) lol
