For now AI lacks any mechanisms of authentic "thinking". So it just copies how people actually wright things. AI is unable to lie in this regard, so it just means that most of guitar manuals start with this phrase.

@@Cultural_Supremacist of course. And the whole discourse surrounding the case justifies my point exactly. Everyone knows that AI is unable to lie so it became obvious that someone in Google tinkered with its software to push a certain agenda and *make* it do what it does.

back when we were learning guitar we had guitar method books, but most importantly, we had ears and we trained them, so many of us never had to open those silly books. We just listened to the song until we memorized it note for note, then picked up the guitar and started searching for the right notes on the fretboard, then trial and error. Slower process, but more rewarding in the long run

Well leaned for 2 yrs (self taught) and yeah I played using 1 string at first trying to figure out what sounds it make and if it matches the song. Now it's been 3yrs since i have done that now I don't need chords cause I don't play chord/power chord( no idea what's it called) and I play fingerstyle. Just a quick listen to music and give me some minutes I'll figure out the sound myself even though the sound ain't similar I can make it sound cool after putting in my own preferences

The past couple years has seen a lot of different changes in the world. AI being one of them and it scares the crap out of me. There are many reasons for this, but job displacement, the skill loss in humans, and the absence of empathy are a few reasons why AI terrifies me. I know a lot of people think it is a wonderful thing, and there are some things that Artificial Intelligence can be good for but apparently not teaching guitar lessons. LOL . Thanks for proving that AI does make a lot of mistakes. You made this video so much fun. It was nice to see a guest appearance by hot Sis. Sorry she was not impressed with the guitar playing. The way we knew the tabs were wrong and started face-palming immediately just by looking at them. 🤣 Ngl, this is kind of a relief that AI is unable to understand guitar tabs. At least for now, and with the app you're using. There might be more advanced ones though. I don't know. I've never messed with AI. But I like the idea that it can't steal authentic guitar playing from us. It's already starting to take over some authentic art/creativity in the form of drawings/photos and such and I haaate it. AI promotes fakery in human authenticity/creativity. I don't want it taking over music. We already have enough guifakists in this world. 😅 The "Mary Had a Little Lamb" riff sounded really pretty though. Even though it was wrong. 😅 And the slogan it came up with was actually pretty great. Are you doing alright, Steve? The ending has me a bit worried that you might be feeling a bit sad. 😢 Idk, maybe I'm just thinking too much into it. 😅

We have plenty of AI faking music already in the popular sphere. Just view any rapper video since 2005 and you get to listen to autotuned robots speaking garbage with the odd animal noises over a AI generated 4/4 beat. Just because this fact escapes the awareness of the rest of the NPCs in the general populace, it never passed My scrutineering ears.
