Hi Rob I know I mentioned this before during anime nyc but I still can’t believe how the hell bleach lose in a discussion about antagonists. Beside Aizen and Ywach, there are ton of antagonists who are a lot more complex. They aren’t fighting because they are evil, they either fight for survival, they have their own goals, and they try to find more about the reasons for their existence. Not to mention many of the antagonists have in some ways shaped Ichigo for who he is even before he was born. Who else does that. If that girl from the shark tank video was in this debuts, bleach would win.

Ippo is such an underrated anime, the way he learns to adapt to his opponent while fighting and overcoming his challenges is such a rush. Like the gentlemen said previously, you feel for ippo when he loses because of how much boxing means to him and how determined he is to become champion, truly heart of a lion mentality.

For a sad pokemon moment I would have mentioned chimchar being released from Paul. Ash takes him in, chimchar evolves up to infernape and they defeat Paul in the Sinnoh League. That whole arc was super emotional. But I guess she may have been nervous with arguing on camera.

Ash "dying" not being there or literally just Mewtwo's whole story not being put up as an emotional moment is kinda crazy. I will still give it to Yu Gi Oh in that aspect just because of how much variety it does have and the quality of those moments depending on the era. Getting demoted to just Pikachu dying being the only one said is pretty disrespectful, I'm not gonna lie. I mean there's more moments other than Mewtwo and Pikachu obviously, you just never really remember the other times as vividly.

I'm sorry but how do you sell antagonist when you literally have one of the best antagonist if any anime ever in Soskue Aizen. The man literally orchestrated the events of like 75% of the show. Created Arrancars to handle his light work and then barely flexed and solo'd the entire gotei 13 w/o EVER using his swords highest form. The best part about Aizen was that he was so masterfully done, no single character ever became powerful enough to beat him, he effectively beta himself with his own self doubt. That means, unlike other animes including YuYu Hakusho, Aizen never broke the shows power scaling. No "B Class, A Class" nonsense was necessary.

i swear the reason jojo beats gintama for ost was simply popularity. I am just a salty gintama fan that wants more people to watch the best anime to ever exist, and my fellow gintama fans know just how legendary the openings are and do not get me started with its instrumentals, Gintama OST 14 Koko wa Samurai no Kuni da, never in my life have I ever heard such an emotional and beautiful pieces of music I have heard period. When Gintoki starts giving you a life lesson and Koko wa Samurai no Kuni da plays in the background, you either getting a beautiful, emotional, and heartwarming moment, or you getting actually crazy deep advice. To my Gintama fans you know the quote "If you've got enough time to fantasize about a beautiful death, why not live beautifully until the very end?"

Gintama has a great variety of OSTs that get used very efficiently, they don't even have to hype it, they just get stuck in your head, what I also love is that it makes you emotionally connected to the osts. There are ones that can be used for both comedy and emotional moments, us fans literally just have the brightest smiles on our faces even if we get to listen to an ost, that's just how good they are, I swear I can get emotional listening to "Oremo, mou Jump sotsugyou shinakya ikeneetoshi dayona?"

For me "Koko wa Samurai no Kuni da" is easily my fave and prob the most iconic track in the series. When you here this track you just know Gintoki is about to give you some of the wisest, realest, or supportive speeches you will ever hear.

Nah that’s facts tho. Ace could have used BetterHelp’s services 😂 getting triggered over basic “your daddy” jokes and all that That Jojo’s vs Gintama OSTs was a bullying session 😂 I feel like Gintama opening 13 is one of the greatest openings ever, but overall, Jojo dominates in that area. Also, the guy that was defending Hinata really should have watched the show more closely imo cause Hinata is the perfect example of the journey of a naturally athletically gifted kid with a dream who had to learn to humble himself and trust the process. Ippo also falls in that category but the only reason I would give it to Hinata is because there are, in my opinion, more facets to volleyball than there are to boxing. Boxing is very technical, but so is volleyball, and you have multiple positions to think about, and you have to adjust your style of play depending on the team you’re going up against.

The only emotional moment you can think of the top of your head about Pokemon is the one she brought up?! naaa man the disrespect When you put that category on I thought about 10 moments that are better than that one of the top of my head, in a second The first episode where Ash protected Pikachu so Pikachu defended him and accepted him as his trainer You got to remember in the first series there were no faints so if a Pokemon died he actually died When we first met Charmander and his backstory So when Charizard went into the volcano in the battle with Magmar everybody was an edge Also when they were in a snow storm and Ash had to cuddle with his Pokemon the entire night in a cave so they all wouldn't all freeze to death When f****** Butterfree left, need I say more? Actually I will say more when Ash first won a championship and when Ash won a World Championship and his final battle in every Arc Pokemon always get lousy defense in those videos🤦‍♂

Jojo is the best. Most creative battle shonen to exist. And its nice to have ippo there but haikyuu is so basic compared to it. Ace of diamond, Baby steps, Major are better comparisons
