I was at the cook off, looked all around for u, no go. just wanted to shake ur hand and introduce myself. the food got overwhelming SO GOOD, quit looking for U, kept eating , me & the wife had a great time. thanks for sharing this event. What is the difference between jambalaya and gumbo?

A jambalaya starts out soupy but the liquid is soaked up by the rice so it comes out kind of like a casserole. Gumbo is a soup poured over cooked rice. Most any ingredients are interchangable. 👍
