It's really great to see you, and your wife fishing together. Kind of a date escape together. Whenever you can take the wife on a fishing excursion, you should do it, as long as she wants to go! Hello Jared and Tia, I personally love seeing families doing these things together. I grew up in northwestern Oregon, about 90 minutes from the coast. My grandparents would gather the family together and we would go to the coast and camp for a week to ten days and eat fresh caught seafood that we caught and cooked as well as gathering enough for the year. Most times we had as many as 20 of us all gathering our stores for the year. I hope to see all of y’all out together as a family. Yes sir I really miss living down there I fished and hunted all over Saint Bernard Paris and surrounding areas I used to love going down the River I'm pulling up by the levee in the fall and all the mustard greens would be growing down the levee on the Riverside find me a good spot on the side of the river and sit down and have a fish and on my way out I picked mustard greens and go home and make a fried fish and mustard greens with some rice oh good times or catch me some trout and redfish make me a good old fish fry or some shrimp i sure do miss living there maybe one day ill make my way back down that way living in Galveston Island Texas now

I like your videos but I have a question on this one! How come your big fish at the start you said you were going to release anyway when It got away but when Tia your wife caught a big one you didn't even measure it? Louisiana doesn't have a size slot limit like Texas?
