I attempt to install the FK8 Turbo Inlet on my 10th gen Accord

In this video I attempt to install the FK8 Turbo Inlet on my 2018 Accord Sport 2.0. Ultimately the install didn’t go as planned but I’ve shifted gears and plan to get it installed down the road after my downpipe install.

Thank you for trying it charge pipe fully polished house to put it on my stock turbo record as all my buddies in Florida have type-r turbo and no one wants to try that even with the type-r turbos. But I cannot stand that plastic in on so I will relocating off my callus PRL downpipe and why are you and Joel going afar b6 I thought Joe was all PRL everything keep up the great vlog. Very informative. You're doing an awesome job

Flex head 12mm socket on that inlet bolt is the cat's meow.

The o2 will reach, I have it located there with my prl dp and type r turbo. I'm sure the bung plug would thread into the stock turbo. Could make it work that way also. The easiest thing to do would be to put a type r turbo and dp to make that inlet fit :)

Really enjoy your videos, and when I come out of this quarantine I plan to mod my 10th gen. Question: with your 20x9+30 AodHan’s have you had any rubbing since lowering your vehicle? I plan to install Eibach ProKit springs with the same wheel setup, but I don’t want any rubbing. Thank you.

You could get it notched so the o2sensor doesn’t have to be relocated and have the pipe tig welded closed

Sure you can. It won’t bolt right up, you’d need a new flange but it could work.

I'm just glad you're not one of those guy's with the 1.5T CVT doing all these mods.🤦‍♂️ They crack me up whenever they're using the paddle shifters to downplay the cvt droning.

tbh tho, let them do what they want with their cars. Honda CVTs have their limits around 252 ftlb of torque, but that's still a decent amount over stock. I don't drive a CVT, but I think its okay that they get into car modding too, as long as they don't pretend they drive a manual.

I’ll use the PRL tube and pieces of the mishi intake. Worst case, I’ll order the type r tube from PRL.

@@Fahrenheit_Motorsportswait wait PLEASE TELL ME YOURE ACTIVE i’m in the same dilemma right now i have the titanium turbo inlet otw with a mishimoto intake did you need to buy the 2.0T intake conversion hose off prl on the side? if not what modifications need to be done to make the titanium inlet fit the mish intake?? i know it could be done i’m just not sure how it will go down because it’s hard for me to find info about this please help me😭 also would you suggest buying the honda/acura inlet pipe installation kit??

@@sol1229 I used the parts from both kits. It’s basically just couplers shared from both PRL and mishimoto. If I remember correctly in order to get the intake tube to work you’ll need the turbo. That was the issue I ran into.

@@Fahrenheit_Motorsports wait to clarify to get the mishintake to work with the turbo inlet i’ll need the turbo? like an upgraded turbo? ik to get the inlet to work i need a downpipe or a turbo to move the oxygen sensor but since i currently don’t have a downpipe i wanted to just put on the mish intake that way when i do install downpipe and get the inlet im assuming i just use the conversion hose to connect the two together (and i believe i need the conversion hose regardless) did i get you right? forgive me for being confused i heard it’s possible but i wanna make sure i don’t sit outside all day 😭

@@sol1229 yeah sorry you are correct. Inlet need the downpipe NOT turbo. But the intake will work for the stock accord setup. I’m trying to remember it’s been years and I sold the car back in 2020. Let me look at my info I wrote down and get back to you. But either way you should be good. I think it only took an hour to figure out how to get them both to work together.
