PRL Titanium Turbo Inlet | ACCORD X & Type R

Boys and girls, thank you sooooooo much for watching!
Today's video is my install of the new PRL Motorsports Titanium Turbo Inlet. This is pretty much the same install for the Civic FK8 Type R, remember this part is for the Type R. I made it work in my Accord and so can you.
PRL did tell me that they plan on making one that's 100% bolt on for the Accord X though. So, if you aren't in a rush just wait for it. If you are, follow my steps!

IMPORTANT - Same install would apply to the OEM Type R inlet. There's a vacuum nipple on the stock Accord plastic turbo inlet that you'll need to replicate on whatever inlet you go with.
I will be installing an OEM Type R inlet on Abdulla's car soon and I'll make a video on it with every step for you to do it in your car!

This is by far the best 10th Gen Accord build I have seen. PRL has some really good stuff I see. I have a 2020 Accord Touring and would really like it to look like this some day. I only have 222 miles on it, so I probably shouldn't do any crazy mods like this right now. I have definitely subscribed to your channel.

@@accoRding2Joel one other question. The new PRL titanium silicone intake tube end that connected to the airbox looked like it was 4 inches in diameter. The outlet on the PRL High Volume intake box looked like 2.5" or at least way smaller. Did you have an issue getting a tight seal with that setup?

Hey Joel can you please help explain to me your coolant line setup for this install? The Type-R inlets has a metal turbocharger water pipe that bolts to the front of the inlet. Can you use that setup if you have the correct hoses?

Well that titanium inlet fit on the stock k20c turbo via the type r turbo K20 I fits on the Accord in or just wondering PRL does not have an answer for me

You can use it on stock turbo too with modifications

ACCORDing to Joel Are you waiting for the one from prl? Or you going with something else? I was gonna do the ctr swap but would rather wait to see what prl drops. So far, everything else I got from them has been spot on. I have the front pipe, down pipe, flex fuel, hondata(soon to be ktuner). Buying inter cooler today. Will do that resonator delete at the same time. Thats one of the best cheap mods I’ve seen you do. The one thing I did not get from them was the prl Hvi. I have afe takeda.
