Congratulations Kevin !! I know all the emotions and mental stress you went through. Your time was fantastic for a first marathon. Whether you do more marathons in the future or not, you will always look back and say "I did it" and when things in life are tough, you can always say " Cant be harder than that first marathon" You inspired me to get training for a 2025 marathon. I have done 2 ( San Diego 2019, and Steamboat Springs CO. 2021) .

Love it Don! That’s a great way to travel and a cool way to see a new destination! How was the one at steamboat considering you were at a high elevation?

@ Colorado was tough. I knew it would be but my 2 buddies (Rich Marshall, Colin’s stepdad was one of them) wanted to try it. Running in new places takes your mind off of things, and it’s like sightseeing. We started at around 8000 feet and ended up around 2500 feet so it was more downhill then uphill.

@@MathersOnTheMap Ive worked with a few PT's and believe me when I say work on your glutes and learn the proper technique to get them firing while running. Too much dependence on the hamstrings and quads can cause knee problems.

Kevin! That was insane! I ran a 5K 10 years ago and every year since. GO TAYLOR! My fastest time was 37:28. She beat my time by 9 minutes while sick and pregnant! 🤣🤣 You crushed it Kev! That was AMAZING! A full marathon! Wow! I know how hard that was! Very proud of you guys! 👍👏❤️

@ Thanks! Doing my 5K’s feels like your marathon! 🤣 Our son is on the Chicago SWAT team and his wife is on the force also. I volunteer for the Chicago Police Foundation and they hold the 5K every year. Maybe 10K next year? 🤣 I know the feeling of reaching that goal. Sweet! Now you guys relax especially Taylor! 😁 Anyway you guys are Amazing! Thanks for sharing it! I loved every minute! ❤️

Kev, With zero training in Okinawa... The day after the Boston MArathon bombing, everyone was running a marathon in support of thos who did not finish. I woke up at 8am (A bit hungover), drove to the local High School, and did 105 1/2 laps on the track. Took me 5 hours LOL....

Damn Bill that’s impressive and great way to turn that awful occurrence into something positive. Can’t imagine how you felt after that
