Thanks for the review. We are headed there for a long weekend in April. Excited to try Top of the World restaurant and see their renovated rooms.

Thank you for your detailed breakdown. I love it when people keep everything 100%. You definitely need to check out the hidden basement speakeasy at the Mob Museum in downtown Las Vegas. It’s free to get in. It’s called The Underground. I’m looking forward to seeing your video on it and you must order the old fashioned. The way they present it is unique. Have a great day.

I really appreciate that you order multiple items when dining to provide decent representation of what a restaurant menu offers. That said, I'll submit that I, and perhaps most -- or even all -- of your viewers, would not feel slighted if you ordered fewer than four sandwiches when you visit a McDonald's. That inclusion made me laugh. The quality and detail of your content is appreciated.

Your breaking the costs down to the $ is something I don't see anyone else do as well. Please keep it up - and it's good to see that properties off the main Strip are probably worth their weight in gold overall. Sahara, Strat ... not prime locations but if the room rates stack up, they may be better properties versus their prime Strip rivals. I think my next trip to Vegas will have me staying downtown though - last time I was there Golden Nugget was still on an uncovered street corner. I love what they've done based on what I've seen - really want to experience it first hand... Circa probably.

183.00 for that room was an amazing deal. I do think the daily 42 hotel fee is extreme if the facilities are closed. You do eat a lot James 🤭 That hotel tower is nice to dine, not bad for 200.00 bill.

I just got back after 3 nites at the Strat: $37 room; $39.95 to $45.30 resort fee; $95.20 + $20 tip at Top of World (scallops and shrimp); next nite: $7 for two cheeseburgers at McDonalds; first nite $52.35 at McCalls (kansas city burnt tips and country scalloped potatoes). Starbucks: $6.34 for tall latte; $6.01 for a bottle of Pellegrino water. I did not have a penny so I got 99 cents in change. No gambling. Plus lavender elderberry martini at Lily Bar (Bellagio), and $8 for a 24-hour bus pass. Total $902.47.

Great review. My wife and I had an awesome dinner at the "Top of the World" several years ago. I think it was before they charged the $25 pp charge for a window table. We lucked out and came at the perfect time. We started with a daylight view of the strip. Rotated to see a beautiful sunset over the mountain and then finished with a great evening view of the strip at night. One question: How do you eat and drink "for two" and stay so fit looking? I'd be like 300 lbs!

Great video! Less than $200/night for that suite is a steal! It's not your "thing," but it should also be noted that the Strat has several modest- priced shows, including Illuminite and a Michael Jackson tribute show, as well as several thrill rides to keep one busy when the pools are not open.
@Coolist2 жыл бұрын

@@davidsigalow7349 Yeah, I think it's Caesars Diamond they're matching to Gold, cool thing is you can park at any MGM Resort for free and hop around for free or you can ride the free trams from Bellagio down to Mandalay Bay, which will be extra sweet for Raiders games of any other functions at Allegiant Stadium, since MGM pretty much controls almost everything on that side of the strip.

I guess you weren't asking me but my thoughts: I'm not a huge fan of MGM full stop. MGM Signature nearly got me on price per room last visit but Delano came in just cheaper and overall I prefer Mandalay Bay to MGM Grand. Also something to remember is MGM Signature is a fair trek from the main MGM Grand property.Depending on which tower you're in, Planet Hollywood is likely closer :)

A bit of caution to extreme bargain hunters: while the "midpriced" rooms are decent if a bit small (like a room at a Fairfield Inn), I suspect that the really cheap rooms at the Strat may be in the tower that was the original Bob Stupak "Vegas World" hotel. Our host is way too young, but if there's anyone out there who's old enough (like me) to have had a Vegas World experience, I expect you'll agree. I'll share mine if you share yours!

With the horrible emphasis every casino puts on Resort Fees. You would figure there would be abolutley no reason to not have 24/7 swimming pools fully staffed with lifeguards, and drinks in the entire city. $126.00 (which is cheap compaired to some other properties) from just one single customer is a ton of cash! Where does it all go? On floweres, and waxing theire own floors??? We all know it isn't on house keeping. After seeing some of these rooms! We get absolutly Zilch for that money. And winning $25 on triple 7's for $5 a pull What the?????? Good thing the Strat isn't that expensive. I know Vegas is a nice place, but they need to understand we are not all The Maloof Family trying to enjoy Vegas. It shouldn't cost as much as traveling to another country. I'm taking my family here in a week based on this, and a few other videos it seems like a good choice. It's no fun getting jacked out of your cash just to set foot in the front door of some of these places. Awsome video once again! I'm very greateful you're in the trenches of Vegas to bring us this knowlege! Thank You!
