great vid! When I played ExoticIndustries, i compensated for the growing research cost by massivly overbuilding everything so that I could research everything. The only thing I would say you missed is that nuclear can output a lot of power via the improved reactors. feeding them Thorium fuel generates massive amounts of power, so you don't need fusion immidiatly

Hopefully it'll help get this to a wider audience, you deserve it -- the video's high quality, well paced, and you're a skilled enough player to pull the format off. Good job, my man.

Only 1/3 into the video yet, but I already wanted to say "thanks" for including the list of music in the video. Normally it's a pain to find the name of a song that just randomly comes up and is to my liking, but this makes it so much easier to get it

I'm so glad to see somebody's finally made a video about this! I was begining to think I might have to do it myself. It does a fantastic job incorporating lots of diverse mechanics into it, all the way through it I felt like I was being presented with new problems to solve instead of just having to manage increasingly long chains of intermediary products. I might have to replay it now, since back when I tried it the whole Gaia plane didn't exist and alien seeds were all handled on Nauvis, I didn't realize it was still getting major updates. Some other random thoughts - - I hate the scaling research cost and I think it's a bad design choice. It feels like you're being punished for researching any non-critical path techs and discourages actually exploring and playing around with a lot of the new systems the game adds. Fortunately you can adjust it in the game settings, but I'd rather it wasn't there at all. - I ended up removing the mods which add new bitters. Like you said, combat isn't the focus of the mod and having those bitters around makes it much less enjoyable to explore the map (which the mod otherwise encourages through teleporters and lots of possible loot spawns). - Having the god tier reactor be the very last thing you research is really anti-climactic, it's strange having to build a very powerful reactor and a whole new complex production line for the research, and then just not having it do anything. Even just one more tech/strucuture afterwards would be nice to feel likey you're getting to use the generator. - You can beat the whole thing even if you suck at circuits (that's me, I suck at circuits), but it does make a lot of the late game processes way less efficient than they need to be. I imagine somebody smarter than me could produce some really incredibly cool factories, especially since so many byproducts feed back into other production chains.

44:08 you can orbit a blackhole, just how you can orbit a sun/planet/moon. Its gravity gets insanely concentrated the closer you get...but there can be blackholes about 10 times the mass of our sun (they would be tiny, like 60 km diameter) and if there was an actual star 10 times mass of the sun, you wouldn't be able to get to 60km from the center anyways because of how hot it would be. but ideally we would be able to orbit them like satellites do
