When the blue shell is launched, it will attack whoever is/was in first at the time it was launched, so if you’re targeted by a blue shell, it will still attack you even if you drop out of 1st place. If you use a mushroom right before a blue shell attack you can dodge it. Also fake question boxes don’t block red shells.

Incorrect blue shell info. I think you meant to say once the blue shell STARTS HOMING IN on the 1st place player it will not change target. Until then, if the player in 1st somehow knows there is a blue shell coming, and they drop out of first, blue shell does not target them.

Poof doesn’t know that the game gives you a random rival every time you start a Grand Prix, that is to say it picks a random character and gives them a few advantages (better rubber-banding, better item luck, speed boosts, etc.) that make that character produce higher standings.

you might have figured this out by now. but in case you haven't. 1.) when you fall of the map. if you press the gas just as you land you get a speed boost. 2.) when using a bike. you can do a wheely. if your using the Wii mode alone with the steering wheel. swipe" in a tilt motion for a wheeling. if you are using Wii mote with nun chuck, then swing Wii mote "up" in a tilt fashion.

Small characters have good handling and off road but bad speed and weight (Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, Small Miis, etc.) Normal characters have balanced stats (Mario, Luigi, etc) Large characters have good speed and weight but bad handling and off road. (Bowser, DK, Heavy Miis, Wario, etc) Also, vehicles affect stats.
