Saprolings aren't bad per se, but they're not good. Definitely not the worst tribe, but they're competing with elves for a green creature beats deck, and they're not as good at making tokens as a generic tokens deck. They do a lot of things other tribes do, just not quite as well.

This deck is wild, I love how many things (like blood moon) could completely kill it, but there just aren't enough in the meta.

Because you get mainboard answers like boseiju and catchall white spells like prismatic,otherworldly and leyline binding… and sideboard stuff like mite and force of vigor

The deck isn't even completely dead to blood moon, just slowed down. You are still ramping, the amulet still works with the timeless lotus. The bounce lands don't bounce with a blood moon in play. Aspiring Spike won a game against a blood moon.

This is an EXCELLENT video. I won't write an essay on everything I like about it. I could say much more though. The editing retains honesty, while still being brisk. I'm a player that hasn't played MTG since before Modern was created. You explain what's needed, which many casters don't. Beyond that, you don't inundate the audience with non-vital information. As an avid fan of MTG content, but one who doesn't play anymore, this met a very tight order.

I wanted to build this Deck in paper since a friend had a playset of amulet of vigor on sale. But after him asking me if I was gonna build amulet titan and me showing him your video, he now doesn't sell the amulets anymore but wants to built the Deck himself

To help you out for future plans with the deck, you had an out of sorts at 5:38. Golos allows you to play the top three cards of your library without paying their cost if you can net seven mana. Assuming you still have another lotus field, then you can do this play gruul turf for 2g 2r play amulet for 1r: 2g 1r play grazer for 1g: 1g 1r play golgari rot farm for 3g 3b : 4g 1r 2b play golos for 3g 2b: 1g 1r put lotus field into play 3b 3w 3u: 1g 1r 3b 3w 3u Activate golos for 1g 1r 2b 2w 1u: 1b 1w 2u floating You are now three cards deeper that you can play for free with some mana floating to hopefully find you another answer.

Personally I like to have a regular Boros deck, and try to get as many treasure tokens as possible (The copper dragon and mondrak preferably) and just cast it with treasure.

9:53 dont you have the mana to go for Karn, infinite mana ans have infinite golos spins (you would just need to float blue mana instead of green with the lotus field then)

you don't get blue mana from the infinite mana combo. No infinite golos activations. edit: Harry got that wrong a few moments later just before the opponent conceded as well.

Alright so maybe I'm just not thinking about this right but I just don't understand how the amulet of vigor makes the bounce lands give 4 mana. Explanation? Anyone?

So when you play a bounce land with 2 Amulets on the battlefield, you will get two triggers to untap the bounce land. You let the first one resolve, untapping it, and then respond to the second Amulet trigger by tapping for 2 mana, then it gets untapped again and you can tap for another 2 mana, making 4 mana in total.

Aspiring Spike has gotten that question. His answer is that there’s nothing to cut for it. I think that makes sense. You can’t cut setup cards or payoff cards for it, so what’s left?

@@YourPalJamieEllis The engine is the same (Amulet of Vigor, usually obtained via Urza's Saga and Mycosynth Gardens, to power out large mana via bounce lands); the wincon (the titan part of amulet titan) is different. Given the engine is the primary part of the deck though, is it really that different in the end? They're both basically ramp hard via Amulet of Vigor then pick your poison.
