He obviously was born with top-10 talent. In golf the first tour win comes around 28-30. In tennis, guys have burned their bodies out by then. Kyrgios would be winning grand slams now if he saved himself for his wiser years.

@@jericdomingo9902 Yea, if he busts through the top-50 there's going to be a lot of thought put into going the NCAA route more with NIL and just developing a little more slowly. Without giving away your own secrets/goals, would you give some examples of how a pro-player would go about it? Is it drills? Do you consult with a coach? I can think of some top ranked players whose game looks (to my not-so-knowledgeable eye) one-dimensional. Good luck!

Hey you just popped into my feed. Im curious, i heard that there is qualifying (i think thats the tournie people play to get a spot in the gs if the ranking isnt high enough)and then i thought i heard about a level below that. I wondered why players want wild cards and dont just try to win their way through all of those qualifying stages because wouldnt it give you tons of match practice and thus some momentum and confidence? As opposed to coming in fresh from 2 weeks of good practice/training?

Hey Karue, I'm really hoping it works out for you. I've been following your game for awhile, and I do think you have the level to make it. Having a good draw maybe will have a bearing on how things go though. Thats something thats outside of anyones control. That said, if you played 25k events, you would need to win a bunch of them, which is probably easier given the players, but also riskier, because it only takes one lapse in concentration for a few minutes, or maybe an opponent gos on a crazy streak slapping a few winners, and then the risk becomes a reality. Anyway, I've looked at the players that are between you and your goal, and your technical level suggests you ARE THERE. Its now just putting one foot in front of another, crossing the fingers on the draw, and lets see. Best of luck in Vegas for starters.
