► Genshin Impact's newest abyss has proven itself to be the hardest we've ever had. Long term players and beginners alike are all struggling to clear it with 36 stars.. So Can I 36 star this brand new abyss, with only 4 star characters, holding 4 star weapons. This Abyss requires insane amounts of hydro to clear, can we do it without Neuvillette, Furina or Yelan? Can 4 stars meet the insane damage ceiling necessary to beat endless waves of enemies? We we're going to have to DIG DEEP if we wanted to clear this... we're we able to?

That Abyss was hard cause of dodging and constant freezing with Concentrated Beasts and Lechtors, btw it had wayyy less waves in total than this that was a skill check on dodging and finghting and also being a DPS check while this is how many waves you can kill in one go its purely a timer check in relation to DPS, in this Abyss the mobs are sponge while in that Abyss you were the sponge

This abyss wasn’t that hard because of my investment into my builds, but my girlfriend had a problem with the abyss, so I tried to do it for her and I saw how hard it actually was, and I respect anyone F2P who actually managed to complete it, after hours and hours of trying I eventually managed to do it, but it was extremely hard and challenging

Guys quick tip for anyone struggling with hitting the lecters at the same time! You can actually group them by just walking to the corner of the arena and lining yourself up with the lecters, putting yourself jusssttt out of range of the second one making him walk towards the one that's closer to you. then as long as you break their furnace from the same spot, then they will also stagger in the same direction and you'll be fine clearing their shields at the same time!

And after killing the Samachurl, if you go to where the Lectors spawn and face away from the two Abyss Mages, the both of them will group themselves by teleporting to the same spot in front of you.

Thank you for making this video. It actually helped me figure out what to do, and I went back to the abyss to try and see if I could manage clearing the first chamber in time to get all three stars. It took a really long time of trying to shave down the seconds, get as close as I could- I barely got it but I managed. This is the first time I’ve ever 36 started the abyss. Ironically- I think I found the last chamber the easiest. And I’m happy too, I got to use one of my favorite four stars to clear, so I’m really proud of that. Thank you again.

Recently I’ve got a few important 5*s for my and account and got my support to lvl 80 with good artifacts, so i can finally seriously tackle abyss. In this abyss, I’ve managed to get 6 stars on the last floor (I got only 3 stars in the previous abyss), while switching my teams only twice (one time I added an electro unit to my team for the Simon, and second time more hydro units for the pyro shields). This gives me hope that I’ll be able to finally 36* the abyss in future, since this one is the hardest one ever. Also, I like the theory from someone, that when there are last patches of the region, there’s less content. Because of that, there’s much less casual players, while there is the same amount of hardcore players, because they are always playing. Thus, the difficult abyss is for them, to test their op teams

Eakes' dedication is HARDCORE. I appreciate that this video shows the evolution of different attempts and teams over time. Those casual mentions that a team (shown here in less than a few min) was attempted for around an hour and a half before switching up, and things like 'tired af' and losing his mind. Watching these streams was crazy. Smooth editing here as always. The energy is continuous between shots of attempts and explanation. Excellent video with high level of time investment. And he even got in some tips for players attempting this abyss like recommended elements, grouping, teaching new players that they can reset with teams built specifically for the later floors (even though he chooses not too) , etc. Also tfw at 13:50 he says "I'm free" and I'm cringing because I know we'll be back. ...and then back again.

This abyss was an absolute hell. On the chambers with multiple waves my rotations got absolutely wrecked. I re tried the abyss several times and only managed to get 33 stars in total ☠️

If you got the stars for the other chambers then just don’t care about chambers 2 and 3. Use arlecchino kazuha cow and cement first side with Neuv and three other elements on the other side and you will be fine. Save 1:30 and that should be enough.

For first half, when mechanical chickens spawn run to the spot near the next wave and they will walk towards you and group up allowing you to set up and hit both of them.

Hey Eakes, I had an idea for an even harder version of this challenge: Beat Abyss with NO WISHING EVER. This means your cast consists of Traveler, Amber, Kaeya, Lisa, Barbara, Collei, Xiangling, and Lynette (exactly 8 characters unless you were to include a free character from an event or something) Additionally, this means that your only weapon options would be from forging, events, or quests. Frankly I don’t know if it’s even possible but I think it would be very interesting content to try :D

I knew that I improved alot , when I was able to clear this abyss just as a normal run , I just watched Iwintolose vid , cooked a team with my lyney mono pyro first half ( who tf need electro) and hyberbloom with kokomi Xingqiu nahida kuki 2nd half , back then in 3.7 I cried tears of blood just to get 6 stars ( I was saving up for kokomi) and manage to do with the help of alhaitham after spending a whole day in the game , maybe I got new charactres and stuff but I can tell for sure my skills and builds also improved alot and that made me proud of myself 🤗

For anyone still struggling with this cycle: spread/aggravate first half, taser second half Also glad Eakes pulled out taser, that comp feels so underrepresented for how goated it is. Super comfy even with no healer since the XQ and Beidou damage reduction stack, the stagger from electro charged and the Sucrose CC. It's able to deal with basically any enemy easily except electro lectors. It's been good every cycle for at least one side but I feel like it doesn't get mentioned much. Also if you want to use some 5 stars you can do variants like swap Sucrose+XQ for Koko+Kazu, you can use Yae instead of Beidou, you can get funky with Venti, it's a super flexible archetype.

This was the first abyss I have beaten actually. Zero stars on floor twelve, but I'm pretty proud of myself. It was pretty fun but I'm not used to facing enemies with that much hp. I really need to build more sustain units, my Zhongli and Baizhu days are numbered.

I started that abyss expecting something difficult but beat it first try with Arle overload(weaker than vape) and mono hydro. I was struggling in 3.5 abyss to the point of watching 36* completions and building exact teams. Maybe my account is quite a bit stronger with more characters to choose from.

Have you ever thought of crafting hakushin ring for sucrose on electro based teams? I think it would would felo you a bit in those challenges, c6 sucrose gives with r5 hakushin gives even more buffing then kazucha with 1000 em, cause of her extra em share, c6 gives her 20 elemantal bonus and hakushin another 20, plus the second stat is er which is always good on sucrose and less on field

I also had to use a Chevy overload team (mines C2) to deal with Simon. I keep trying to do a run without switching teams and I just can’t do it. I got my 36 stars but I had to use different teams unfortunately. If I just had sucrose I’d probably be ight. Only having 1 anemo unit (kazuha) makes it tough lol
