I got plat 1 the first season with sprigguns since I play it irl It actually deals with some current decks pretty nicely since you can easily slot in 16 hand traps. In the flunder matchup specifically if they don't have barrier statue you can basically get a free board wipe without triggering any of their cards just through the field spell.

@@vitopengabdian8330 I dismantled it for season 2, the core is something like x3 brothers x3 rocky x1 pedor x1 sargas x1 branga x3 watch x3 field spell x1 terraforming x3 booty x3 prosperity, and one big snake, which doesn't seem that good at first but lets you reliably OTK on turn 3 in combination with king of the feral imps. The rest can just straight up be whatever handtraps are best suited towards the meta. Unfortunately MD has gamma at 2, but you still wanna run it since this is one of the few decks where tribute summon driver is a viable option. He's still a brick, though. Maxx C in master duel, replace with whatever else in IRL. You can reliably run a DPE engine if you wanted as well, you basically have 18ish? flex slots for whatever you want. I'd definitely be on x3 nib and x3 gamma whenever possible though, since your xyzs can tag out to make sure gamma's always live, and then next turn at worst you've got a zeus play. I've won several games where my opening play is just merrymaker pass with two materials simply because of how strong gamma is and how certain decks have to take specific routes to make their plays. I just really like the funny little soot fellas.

4:20 VFD Stops you activated of the attribute you declare (Which they declared Dark) And it also changes all monsters on the field to that attribute, HOWEVER, VFD does not change attributes in the GRAVEYARD, And the Springans Branga is a FIRE attribute, and as such, Was not stopped Also. At 5:30, The VW player could not actually stop you, as VFD only stops you activating the effect, BUT does not affect how they resolve, So chaining VFD would have done nothing And, The reason everything was banished, Shenshen has a floodgate effect, Where any card sent from Field to the Graveyard is banished instead. (Though does not affect Deck/Hand to graveyard)

I think I did beat a Virtual World deck after it got out King of All Calamities, but that's another one of those decks where I'm not even going to waste my time if I don't open with Nibiru or Maxx C. I play Master Duel on the Switch and I can confirm it does not run as smoothly as it does on Xbox, though I imagine why Switch having to use wifi plays a part in that.

Honestly when I play virtual world it feels like the most beatable deck ever. It’s so easy to get a starting hand that does literally nothing and it’s really easy to get bottlenecked. I’ve had more consistent games with Sky Striker.

How do you people have the patience? If a turn takes more than 2 minutes- I surrender. It annoys me as hell. I play Shiranui deck which is not competitive at all and somehow someone will take 30 minutes of my life to summon 1000 monsters in one turn- no way
