I think the dude who tweeted about the grass turning brown with too much sun is correct. We have a trampoline in our backyard, which we rotate to different spots each time the lawn gets mowed. The grass always grows greener and longer under where the trampoline was. This is in central CA where temps are often in the triple digits, we're supposedly going through a drought, and we aren't allowed to water more than 2x week.
