I've never fished like this before.
This is a really neat little game that I found and I can't wait to dive into it. I love fishing and roguelikes, so this is right up my alley.

The blue blocks with a moon icon open after you get all three sausages and beat the level's boss. From there, you need to interact with the tentacle again to be taken back to the level map. Be careful, though, as if you get hit, the night time effect ends, so you need to get through the map hitless in order to get the new loot.

The last area, gem caverns, will only have the tentacle spawn after the last dude if you've grabbed all 3 sausages and certain keys from the previous two areas, allowing you to go even further into the game. Only applies to death route.

The moon doors. You can go into them by talking to the tentacle after you beat a boss.
