I Blew Up My Motorized Bicycle, Then Fixed It!

In this video, I found out that my motorized bike has a blown-up motor. and then proceed to order the wrong parts for the motor. and y"all get the join the ride as I go through a bunch of headaches trying to fix my spare motor to be able to cruise this weekend. as always thank you so much for watching, it really means a lot!

I think that engine was fine. I think all of the parts you replaced were still good and did not need replacing. I don’t think you need to open the engine at all. I think you need to learn a little bit more about how to handle issues on these bike, no offense

I forgot what I did honestly, anyway the motor was definitely gone like a month later. A pin hole on the side of the case caused a huge vacuum leak. So took the chance to take it apart and balance the crank, and replace everything. Checkout that short my bike in front of a pool, that’s right after break in with the new top end. She sounds so good, but still a lot to learn 🫡

Your clutch pad still has life on them you can just tighten that screw you took off from the plate and screw it in further after you do that you come back to the Bucking bar and fix the tension on the cable

They had some material left, they were just like dry rotted. They just fell apart when trying to take them out. Tried to tighten the flower nut and the clutch still slipped. The clutch is cheap and I have some on hand so I didn’t mind replacing.

By fix did you mean swap?

On a 80cc motor the piston shouldn't hit the cylinder cap. On up stroke it hits the cap and stops what should I do.any help.

Thanks for the video I've been looking at those mag wheels myself have you had any issues with them and do they work well with rim brakes ???

The mag wheels are awesome! Haven’t had any issues with them. (Knock on wood) even taking jumps, hard rocks, curbs and still taking it. But they aren’t the best with rim brakes, going to be upgrading to disc soon. Will show that as well.

@@JimmyEast-m3z you have a piston with the wrong pin hole. Some have a high hole and some have a low hole. If you have a low hole the piston will reach higher than the high hole piston. Which will make the piston hit the head.
