I do the same thing. I want my mother to see a little bit of the world before she dies. Travelled to Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore, Japan and South Korea. Next year we are both going to Taiwan. I invited one of my nieces. I hope to go back to Japan and Singapore with her while she can still travel.

So sweet of you to have your mother along👍 Enjoy yourselves and create lots of happy memories ❤ Yes, it's been getting more and more expensive here, especially accommodation. I think you and your mother arrived at night so it's cooler. It can get very hot and humid in the day. So, make sure you 2 drink lots of water. Our tap water is potable. Or buy from the supermarkets not convenience stores like 7-11 or Cheers or vending machines. The items cost a lot more. And there're many shopping centres around so hop in to escape the heat.

Just curious since both you and mum in Seoul n Singapore used the taxi to get to airport n hotel as singapore have very good public transport connectivity n much cheaper...singapore hotels n accommodation certainly way very expensive which make it very expensive to travel,stay n enjoy for more days .public transport and walking paths good so acrually make Malaysia very expensive because have to depend on taxi,grab very much so cost of going around Malaysia very expensive

You brought your mum to a love hotel? 😂 Hotel 81 charges by the hour and it’s a love hotel chain. It gets crowded during the weekends when the foreign workers get their days off and they go bang bang in these hotels. You can often see them waiting for their rooms in the lobby 😁

Most people in S'pore work 5 days a week , so on weekends ,we will catch up with family or friends, and there are plenty of activities to do. Yes, I do agree there is nothing much to do in S'pore if you have long leave and want to enjoy nature. I will travel out of S'pore once or twice a year but not to M'sia ,sorry to say: I also find M'sia boring cos both our countries are so similar in terms of culture.
