$100 dealership details are a cost/benefit deal for them... clean enough to sell, but probably not enough for most owners. allows it to be passable on the lot and the owner can clean deeper if they want.

For faded trim use either Solution Finish which is actually a dye or Cerakote ceramic trim coating. Both are great long term fixes.

Yes 100% agree, it makes the trim look almost brand new for WAAAAAY less time and money. Heck even Amazon ceramic coatings can do a decent job. (Just check the reviews and description before applying to trim, and even then test it on a personal car first)

I would say no, unless you have deep pockets and want to take a gamble. IF you do, only buy one at a place you can see the vehicle AND test drive/start it. TOO many people have been ripped off by cough copart cough doctoring up the vehicles, hiding damage, making false claims etc. Cleetus went to look at a ....Grand Cherokee? (I think) that he was going to bid on and copart had wired the fender in place, taped over damage, wired the hood in place, took a photo that hid the big crease in the hood etc etc etc I think they even stuck a block of wood in the suspension so it would sit right (or maybe that was another vehicle). I wouldn't trust copart as far as you could throw one of their forklifts. Craig here has shown some horror stories with auction vehicles (see his Audi R8, they hid $15,000 worth of issues).

I really liked that Rubicon, I may of been interested in it as is. Did you ever get the 4x4 working? That would be a big thing for me. Being in Wisconsin, it's really needed. Honestly man you/german did a AWESOME job on it! Cleaned them up nice, exterior wise was beautiful. But Interior wise could of been done better, lots of seat staining, but I understand, you're already into it for so much you can only put in so much. So incredible interior and decent exterior OR incredible exterior and decent interior. I'd of done the same thing myself. After it sells can you PLEASE let us what you paid, put into it and sold it for?? Or atleast estimates/range if possible, we love the details but I get it if you can Keep up the good work Craig and German!

Gotta let you know, as a wrangler owner. You can get very nice and cheap front and rear bumpers from Amazon for $500. Hooke rd is the brand. If you have an email I can contact you at. I will send you my old oem bumpers to my Jeep. At this point they are just taking up space in my garage. They would be perfect for a situation like this.

I tracked down the owner and offered him $2000 for it, he agreed so o towed it down 8 km down a mountain to my shop. Cleaned ot up put about $3000 into then recently so it at a dealership for $20,000!

I have to rent a vehicle once a week since both my trucks are broken, last week I got a wrangler. That thing was loaded to the tits. Cool ride, different than other SUVs. Even though it was 4wd it still had a tight turning radius. A hell of a lot of money though, I think the one I had listed up here for $48K cdn..... I can totally see the appeal of them though.

Alright 7:45 into this thing and have to say the 07 Rubicon you have your work cut out for you. Man this one was "rode hard and put away wet" can't wait to the end to see how you make out! Takeoff wheels and tires are everywhere here in Canada and once the owners realize the actual value of them (dirt cheap because they are everywhere) they are a great cheap upgrade. I never buy new tires for my wife's Jeep just replace the whole set at 1/3 of what tires alone would cost.

You can smell a Maaco painted vehicle 100 yards away in a parking lot of 10,000 cars.
