Hi, I really enjoy your channel. I hope it's not a stupid request but could you do a video on how you chain loads down. Like scrap cars and the forklifts etc. Would like to see how that is done. Thanks and stay safe.

Seeing forklifts on a flat bed brings back bad memories. I ran a cable crane with an orange peel grapple, that came in as scrap. I couldn’t pick up a 14” rim! The flatbed would have about 6-7 small forklifts. The American forklifts, I could grab the cage and lift them off. The cage held 100% of the time. The Japanese forklifts, the cage rip offed 100% of the time. Then I’d have to try and grab the mast, lift slightly and swing it around and try and roll it off the back. It puts your heart right up into your throat, trying not to damage the flatbed. Never did.

i would love to come down and work for you. ive run a car parts yard where my boss would go to car auctions and buy popular models. After that i went to an indoor parts yard. I started as a parts puller and when my supervisor got fired I got his job. After that place shut down I started working at my dream job a scrap yard. I got hurt at that job in2016 and had 5 surgeries to fix my neck. Now i consider myself retired and wander the street picking up scrap. I love to microscrap. my wife wants me to give it up but what will i do then.

great video , regarding the brakes - we had same on ours . it needs a strip down and the rusty parts cleaning and greasing. the shoes stick out and don't retract and then rust weld themselves to inside of drum. its an easy fix usually needing no parts

I have never seen such a trailer. It's about a mile long! Gee wizz. Those machines are valuable as well.

I had an old forklift that sat outside a long time. An Amish guy bought the mast. They install them in their barns for an elevator. I don’t know if you have many Amish around ya but that’s another sale point for a lift that’s not worth fixing.

Best way to free the brakes is to put another forklift on the forks and pickup. That will keep the tire from spinning. And will break loose. If engine doesn't have enough power. Push it with other fork lift. Weight is your friend. Glad it freed up with too much hassle Dragging a tire that is locked up doesn't take long to flat spot it. And will rattle your teeth

I have recently been watching the shorts and this was the first video. 9 times out of 10 there was always an excuse why something wasn’t recorded. Whether it was he was in a hurry or he had to go to do this. Anyways I like the vids man but if you can’t make time to record this channel will fail and your wasting your time picking up that camera
