Not always. My dad helped me start my business, I payed him a full time wage to be a project manager, while paying his wife $1000 a month to do the books. After three years in business he was trying to get me to borrow money from the equity in my home to keep the business going. When I refused he quit. I replaced him from the cab of my truck while working on tools. I hired an accountant for 1/3 of what my step mother was charging. Instantly turned the business profitable. 10 years strong now.

I think each episode has been very special on its own. This one came at the right time to me. I had a person wanting to invest in my craft. I’m a visual artist with a laser cuter. I love CNC technology and see myself creating a whole shop with different types of CNC. I had the thought of getting there slowly but on my terms. This episode confirmed it. My uncle has 3 mini's from the 70's that I asked him for...one was cut and he put a V8 in....he taught me to rally and to show that you can push yourself even when everything else is going sideways.
