I received a BS for Mother’s Day in 2022. I was beginning my weight loss journey. I use it weekly for meal prepping and love it! One year later, I attribute most of my success to my BS. I’m 70 lbs down and have exceeded my goal. It’s easy and fun to cook on!!!

I'm beginning to think you people don't understand the difference between prep and cooking? I've cooked on 4 x 6 foot grills but I always did my prep on a table or counter.

I get cooking your ground beef to 165, yeah OK but why would you call that washing? Are you cooking it water so you wash out all the flavor?

Great video. I been using mine for 5+ years now. I recommend a few things for you: Blackstone silicone spatula mat (to rest ur tools on during use). Cuisinart food mover or Blackstones brand to get big portions of veggies and meat off the grill. and the Blackstone XL griddle press...has enough weight to push down all the meat and give everything an even sear.

OMG! None of you have any idea of how to cook on a grill! This food doesn't have a clue what he's doing. He never cooked with his mama or anyone else for that matter. Making hamburgers by slicing up 2 pounds of ground beef. That's the craziest thing I ever saw. He washed his grill with soap!!!!!!!! WITH SOAP! You don't use soap on a grill that's why he has those big brown spots because it's soap residue. If you do wash it with soap then you have to rinse it very well with vinegar water. Clean well seasoned grills do not get huge brown patches. That's another thing, he didn't season his grill he doesn't even understand what seasoning a grill is all about. Those spatulas are junk, they have sharp corners which will scratch your grill they should have rounded corners they're also too thin and too short.

That is not how to clean a grill. Did you see those big brown stains on his hot grill. You know what that was? SOAP RESIDUE. You never ever clean a grill with soap. Just use a clean wet towel or if you grill has build up on it you can use a lemon cut in half, hold it with a thick towel so you don't burn yourself. There are these things called grill bricks, they are a light weight black brick that scrubs a grill clean even if you have a lot of build up in the corners, then you wipe it all away with a wet towel then you oil it up. This dude didn't even season his grill properly. This guy is a clown, he doesn't even know the difference between prepping and cooking he thinks they're the same thing. Doesn't this grill come with an instruction book that tells you how to clean it?

I know this is 7 months late to say, but there is a way to ensure that your ground beef is "clean." You would have to ground your own beef cuts. An added quality step would be to buy large rough cuts and trim off all outer surfaces before grinding.

heres a tip that I leared a while ago, for ground anything I do season everything even the ground beef before hand and place it in a XXL zip lock depending on your LBs you might just need smaller, anyway, use that to flatten the seasoned ground beef (i also preseason and freeze since I buy in 5/10lb quantaties) I usually just cook about 1.5 to 2lbs. But once you flatten it I usually just cut the bag and then just flip it onto the griddle. Get nice sear for about 2/3 mins then flip for about 1 min quick and then start chopping it. If you chop it too soon you'll loose mostuire and you will evenutaully start boiling the meat and you dont want that. with those same ziplock bags I use them to flatten out the chicken so they are pretty much even and everything cooks evenly. Other than that KUDOS!!! Thanks for the review. I have a smaller one but just seeing this cook that much chicken I will surely upgrade !

This grill was one of the gift choices available to me for a service anniversary. I just chose it this morning. Even though it was “free” for me, it wound up costing me $150 for the top, silicon cover, seasoning mix, and a grill accessories set. I am so stoked, should be delivered, assembled and good to go in 7 to 10 days. Going to see if you have any recipes now.

For ground meat I put flavored vinegar or pickle juice in during the seasoning process. If you have an Asian market near you they have a nice flavored vinegar called pinakurat.

I got a pro series about 8 years ago. Open the box, add the wheels, if I remember correctly, Some how I loaded it in the truck the right way and slide it down to the floor. Then it was the griddle top and the top cover. All of 15 mins. It came with drawers and enclosed tank doors. Still rocking this thing. Need a new cover. It stays outside.

When he squirted it with oil and called it seasoning I was like screaming at the monitor. This cat has no clue what he's doing. I'm guessing he did not read the instruction book. He washed it with SOAP! YIKES and he probably thought those brown stains on the grill were normal and didn't even have clue that was soap residue. There are like all these comments from other people who also did not read their manual saying, "Thanks for show me how to do this" aye yei yei. The blind leading the blind.

Looks pretty good. I would have done about 5 rounds to season it though. Then, first thing you cook on it is one or two huge onions sliced up. The sulfur in the onions will help set the seasoning. Sounds crazy, but it works. A good idea with chicken breast is to slice them in half horizontally. One, it doubles what you get with thick breasts. Two, it takes half the time to cook them.

Do all the meat handling before you start touching the spices, if you need to flip a steak or something mid spicing then only use one hand to touch the meat. You can also just avoid touching the meat by mixing in the spices with some tongs and also using tongs to transfer them to the pan or whatever.

Wash your ground beef? I've never heard of washing ground beef. Why did you clean the griddle between the ground beef/ turkey sausage? You mentioned needing more oil for the chicken, but you got rid of the oil you had when you cleaned the griddle before cooking the chicken. Scrap the solids from the ground beef away, and then utilize the oil from the beef to cook the chicken instead of re-seasoning the griddle.

I hope you get your audience back dude, I loved the steak video from a while back, just keep grinding and you'll get there!! Thinking of buying one of these because trying to meal prep in a tiny kitchen on a tiny stove and batch cooking is just rough. Edit: Just to boost your video views, I'd maybe try a bit more of a modern font on the thumbnail, ngl I know some of my younger friends would probably scroll past thinking the video was maybe older based on the font. Sans serif is everywhere these days, maybe check out Montserrat, Open Sans or Oswald (all free for commercial use and can be found online). Saying that with the most positive of intentions and hoping your channel continues to grow so we get to see more great stuff like this!
