On these engines watch out for a common problem "going limp" its an issue with the electronic throttle body that'll show on the dash as a red lightning bolt icon. The repair is replacing the whole body but it seems like its running good especially up hill which is good. To test this is mainly is to rev the engines with some quick revs and the symbol would briefly come on. I know it doesn't seem like any issue here but I'd thought I'd share anyway if you were to buy another car with the same engine it's happened to me before and we honestly didn't know what was going on. Here in Sweden all new cars is sold with undercoating. Of course everything rust here, but I am stunned to see a roughly ten year old car with rust. Here in Sweden all cars usually last arond 12-16 years or so before bad things happen. I guess it´s due to all manufacturers see Sweden as an "extreme climate". But howcome cars that are sold in "salty states" in the US gets the same treatment? I am starting to wonder about this since watching a lot of videos where cars that are still considered "newer" in Sweden are often rusted out in the states. Fun fact, I welded a few small holes under my Volvo 940 with 550000k on the clock. It looked good but the undercoating was so tough that the inspection missed the rust. The old rust protection was almost as hard as good metal. :))
