Cool project. I picked up a 2001 Disco 2 in January for a similar price. Abandoned so I got no keys, it had no catalytic converters, but I knew I could sell just the wheels on ebay to get my purchase price back. I have keys now, and it seems to run OK. Interior is currently half apart while I get the drivers seat re-upholstered and figure out a center diff lock. Will be following this and good luck! Save the Disco's!
