Good for you man, this is the best M car as far as smiles per miles go I have the same car, dinan tuned to 450hp, lowered on M perf coilovers, M perf exhaust, lightweight wheels, its a fantastic ride, and a great project car!

@@BaldHorsePower. Yes the coilovers was prob one of the must-do mods for this car, it really sorts out the issues with the stock suspension,

There’s an E92 with a modified exhaust down the road so I think I’m alright 😄

Good review. Love the gopro not recording 😂 Im in a similar position to you. 2018 M2 bought last Oct. 7 speed DCT for same reasons. I test drove 3 different M2s, and a M2 Coml. Ive put on about 8000 miles also. The difference between 6 speed manual on the motorway at 70mph is about 800rpm which is significant. Also I didnt really rate the manual gearbox feel, it felt normal and probably worse than a VAG 6 speed or Volvo 6 speed. Up to about 80mph M2 Comp didnt feel any quicker, it felt more linear but sounded quieter than my M140i at the time.

Thanks mate, I hate GoPros 😄 Sounds like we’re on the same page. No doubt the comp is a brilliant car but noise is more important to me than fractions of speed increases but that’s easy for me to say, I’ve not driven a comp. More than happy with this car, 10k miles in now and still loving it 😍

Thanks mate 👍🏼 That’s a tough choice! Both have great presence on the road and very similar cars under the skin. Get an insurance quote for both, that may make the decision a lot easier and naturally, test drive both. I’d imagine they’re both similar but the shorter wheel base is likely to have the upper hand when it comes to handling 👍🏼

I also still have 9 points but the first 6 will expire in July, had to sell my 7.5 GTi in May '23 bc I couldn't insure it. but I am soo looking forward to what's next. subscribed as well

Thanks mate 🤩 It’s a killer! I dropped 6 points in November so officially now have 3, which is great for the security of my license but, insurance companies apparently still punish you for 5 years 🤦🏼‍♂️

Ive got 0 points on my license. Lots of luck in that and speed cameras going off but either no film - if thats a thing, or Ive been on other side of road over taking so there only front and no rear pic

They are a fantastic looking car but its as heavy as an m4 and not really that fast. I was thinking about getting one but in all honesty my e92 330d is a faster and better car

That’s why there are so many cars available, we all have different tastes and requirements. I’ve had a 320d and a 330e, this is much much quicker but, in some situations a more standard car is a better tool for the job 👍🏼

The difference between an M car and a 330d is night and day in terms of a driving dynamics mate, performance figures are not everything

@@sw8108 yes i am very aware of driving dynamics my friend and i can tell you my 330d e92 will out perform any stock M2 on UK b roads. It has around 15k of mods on it has proper suspension, uprated ARB. LSD, xhp gearbox software, M3 control arms, polly bushing, hybrid turbo, uprated cooling, recaro pole positions etc etc ..... i will meet up with you for a demo any time ❤
