Oh wow, that's amazing! I'm extremely jealous 😅 They do rarely come up for sale. Constantly looking for a Mk1 Punto to buy - cabrio or not - and they seem to be impossible to find, at least without paying silly money. And you got it for £650?! Bloody hell, they clearly didn't know what they had then!

Same colour as mine! With laquer peel in the same places 😂 oh, and mine IS on the road. And I find the 1.2 16V cruises quite happily at 70mph, and has plenty of torque for passing even at that speed, so definitely something up with the engine in your example.

What’s is the power output of your mini ? I’ve not fully explored the state of the floors yet so your measurement of what is a dog may still apply. It has at least had some welding done

@@PuntoHowto 40bhp from new, but has stage 1 so that's +15% but also has many years and miles so that's probably -25% let's be generous and call it 40bhp. Cutting and welding is the best part though really, or the most satisfying. I'm not sure what parts and panels are available for fiats so I'm lucky there as 98% of all parts are available 2nd hand and new

@@ClassicMinishorts it’s an Italian car they’ve not made for 25 years so it seems any parts that can’t be found second hand have to come from Italy assuming they actually have those parts on a shelf somewhere
