As a machinist, it hurt my soul to hear Matt replaced the whole steering column in the Bentley over a broken plastic bushing. It doesn't sound like a very complex part, any machine shop could have made a METAL one that won't break for wayyy less money.

Some input on the 991.1 7 speed manual… im not sure what anyone has ever said about the 7 spd shifter being crap. I adore my 7 speed 991.1. 7th is perfect as a highway cruiser. Drops my rpms a full 1k at 75-80mph when compared to my friends gt3 driving right in front of me. I say go for it. 1:34:59

Matt for the Taycan: white goes really well if with a Satin Indigo finish on the wheels like a 992 GT3 RS style. I know HRE can do the finish because I saw someone with a white Carrera GT do it on their twisty wheels (though they ruined the interior).

Wrapped my car in 2021 at Carbon Wraps in Orlando. There has let been a single peel or issue. It was on the high end of cost but that’s reality the only way to do it. It’s been in a garage for the entire time and driven 5k Florida miles at year.

The weirdest/ most unremarkable RHD car I've seen is a mail van in Oregon, I think the USPS branded vans, that are actually LHD but rigged up to be driven from the passenger seat with a wheel and pedals. There's a pulley system rigged to the steering wheels, it's so bizarre.

TheSmokingPorsche stays on brand. Over the years I have become a little beated down by the constant Porsche coverage, as if there are no other cars on the planet. Nearly every video, or every single podcast, covers a Porsche of some type or another for some length. I have tried to stay loyal and keep watching, but as someone who has driven Porsches and found them to be clinically perfect but utterly devoid of character and unremarkable, I just cannot stand the constant Porschesturbation over the years. One less subscriber, sorry to go after all this time. Maybe if the coverage expands beyond BMWs and Porsches, I may come back, one day. Please Matt, expand your repertoire or rename your channels.

I found the rant unnecessary but porschesturbation is pretty funny. I would maybe argue that Porsche and bmw are the standard for the type of canyon driving that these guys do so that is their main interest. I feel like they have a pretty balanced coverage of actual automotive news but most people listen to podcasts to hear about the personal experiences of the hosts and these guys are doing that. I’m confident that you can find someone that owns the same vehicle that you do if you want to hear someone skewed in the same direction that you are
