My Barzilla is needed to crack open the big pieces of bedrock, then baring out the broken up large chunks of bedrock for panning out all the virgin gold. It might even contain sizable nuggets from millions of years of erosion and depositions.

People think my platinum nuggets are led until they get a good look. Platinum was trash until 1900 and our local 1850s gold rush miners left it on top of the ground. I'd have to check I think I've found near 14 ounce now. My biggest is an 8.5 ounce. I have a 58 gram nugget I gave to a friend... all the rest are closer to 15grams or so... I found all of mine, by eyes only, while I was rock hounding.

AK gold miner here. Rule #1 - Find out if there’s still ground worth working BEFORE you purchase the claim. Any respectable claim owner will gladly allow you to go in and do some testing prior to purchase (all gold going to the owner). I’ve lost count of the number of people I’ve seen come up here who did that backwards and ended up abandoning the claim and going home broke, never to be seen again.
