Last week I lost an ebay auction for a GL 59 9.0 CGC at 810 dollars. My max bid was 800 and the winning bidder placed his/her bid at 1 min left on the clock! Pretty sad about that one. Good for you that you managed to get one!

You got some great stuff there. If you want the best piece of cheap advice I can recommend to a person getting newly married. Keep separate checking accounts! Lol. Of course, you pay bills together and save together, but the fastest way to start an argument after you’re married, is looking at what the other spent on a banking statement. 😂

Very nice book James congrats. I would be cautious resubmitting PGX to CGC though. I have had two awful experiences with that. Had a set of first print The Crow 1-4. Issue 1 came back 3rd print. 2 and 3 came back 2nd print. And I had a Ghost Rider (1967) #1 that came back purple label trimmed top cover. Go over that book with a magnifying glass before resubmitting. That said, your book does look like its in gorgeous shape though.

I too own a DC Comics Presents 26, CGC 9.4 signed by Wolfman and Perez. Its my second grail right behind my Batman Adventures 12. Which is currently being signed by Dini, Timm, and Conroy. As well as being graded. Teen Titans is my favorite team in comics and Raven is my top 2 characters in comics.

About a year ago I got a killer deal on a Amazing Spiderman 252 because it was PGX. It was a lower grade 6.5 but I got it for $75.00 dollars I just sent it off to CBCS to get pressed and re-slabbed.

James, maybe the best way to keep your comics-buying quiet is not to announce it on a KZbin video. But as that horse has not only bolted but is now in the next county, let's focus on what you purchased. I know how much you love GL but my favourite of this lot is the DC Comics Presents issue, not for the Superman/GL team-up but for the Teen Titans preview and the custom Perez label. Now if your fiancee notices a little dip in the joint savings account, take her out for a nice dinner and make sure there's a bunch of flowers on the table when you return home. This may not get you completely in the clear but it will certainly limit the damage. I speak from experience here. Good luck.

I’ll be honest, I’ve been using cgc, cbcs and pgx and I’ve had the least problems with pgx and am most happy with them … Their new slabs and labels are very nice as well … also so much cheaper to grade

I don't have experience w/ PGX, so don't know if lucky or not, but my one PGX is for my Batman #4 (1940) in 3.5. It would likely remain a 3.5 at CGC for this early GA book that otherwise looks so nice. Sometimes you need to count your blessings, so I'm not tempting fate by shipping it out just for a CGC slab, especially since it's for my long-term PC anyway.

Crack it out with pgx it's either harsh or goosly over graded but if you think it looks like at least a 9.2 I'd resubmit also there case tends to damage books at least with the ones I've held
