I bought the 150 hawk for my son, turned out to be a little too much bike for him, like a little too heavy. Bought the 125 and it’s perfect for him! Watching your video to assemble it right at this moment I’m typing this comment. Now him and I got bikes we can ride together! :).125cc was $799 on Amazon. Man Honda dealer wanted $5600 for the 125!

I have two EGL a11 pros the 125cc and I can attest that they are solid bikes. The only thing I changed was all of the hardware bolts, nuts etc and upgraded the spokes on the wheels to make them a little more stout to handle the rough trails. But me and my son ride the living crap out of these things and they take a beating and a half. I've done nothing but change spark plugs and oil just to keep it fresh.

I did not adjust anything this is just the way that it came out of the box. I agree that this would be a great bike to learn on and they are super light and nimble. Great assembly, but always change the oil immediately after the bike is complete. The oil that arrives in the bike; is just shipping oil...and can cause problems to the bike.

Do you happen to know where the idle screw is on this thing? I cannot seem to find it anywhere

If you look around the carburetor there is a little tiny black rubber plug, if you take a sharp tool you can pick that rubber piece out and that is where the idle screw is. It's it's just right behind that rubber plug. All of the base I bought from these guys have been set up pretty close to where they need to be. When you start it you might wanna let it warm up for five or 10 minutes before you start adjusting things to make sure that things are running. When I first started buying up it did not run very well until it warmed up, you may be having the same issue. Thanks for watching and happy new year!

Yes I do believe they are about 150 pounds ish for that size bike. I would definitely recommend the hawk. The rear shock needs to be removed but it can be adjusted at least on the one that I got. If you check out the video you should be able to see where there is a adjustment on the rear shock. Hopefully this video is helpful and thank you for watching.

If you are a beginner I would definitely recommend the hawk. The RFZ is a lot more complicated and a little cold blooded.

Hey how are you , I literally spend hours looking at videos to find the best one for my boyfriend for Christmas and I decided to go with this one after watching your videos so thank you lol . Can you help me tho please? So when it arrives can I leave it in the box with the oil in it until Christmas to give the gift or do I have to open the box when it comes and change the oil so it’s not sitting ? Yes it should be fine if you let it sit with that oil in it that is what it is designed for. After you get it put together and get it started you want to change the oil right away. The oil is meant for testing and when you get it you want to put better oil in it when you actually start to ride it. I'm glad my video was helpful thank you so much for watching.

So far all of these bikes that I have had have been great and started up on the first or second kick even after riding for a lot of miles it does not seem to have any problems. I think these are good bikes and only time will tell how they will last. If you look at any videos of China in the streets you will see that there are a ton of scooters and motorcycles on the road. I think they have the mechanics figured out.

Unfortunately there are not any torque specs for these bikes that I have found yet, you can be pretty safe by using the Honda 125 torque specs and be close enough that you should be fine. There is no battery necessary because this is a kickstart motorcycle. After you kickstart everything should work just fine because the engine is creating electricity to run itself. I spent more than double on my pitbike and the bike you have has a better frame🙄 but the one you got is a 125 with non adjustable front/rear suspension so I guess that’s why it’s cheap 🤷‍♂️

The front forks do not have any adjustment in them but I believe the rear shock can be adjusted on this bike. For the money for what I was trying to do I think this was a great bike to have for me. I hope you like the video, thank you for watching and supporting my channel.

@@hanzdidit I know that’s what I was saying, it’s a good bike for the money, but my point was the bike doesn’t come with any billet parts or fully adjustable suspension front/rear so that’s why they can sell it for such an affordable price. To me it’s a good beginner pitbike or for someone who would like a decent frame to build into a better bike for the track. Definitely get bang for buck with this bike!

Most likely it is your clutch cable, you will need to adjust it so that when you pull the clutch in that it is disengaging all the way. It sounds like it is still trying to engage in though you have a clutch in, this will make the bike stall. I think this is what you are saying is going on with your bike. Yes but some of them have clutches and some of them do not. If you get the smaller wheel size they will be an automatic transmission in most cases. The larger wheel size most of them have a clutch.

If you watch the Tao video you can see the Tao 110cc it looks like I am much too large for this bike so I think it would be more suitable for somebody that was 4'11". add oil before you start it. I went to drain my 125 thumpstar and it was dry, they only added enough oil to stop rust or something. that being said i did go around the block first

All of the bikes that I have bought from Amazon, approximately 14 now I've had no problems with oil. I highly suggest that you check the oil when you get the bike and change it before the first ride or after you've started at the first time. Sorry you had this trouble and I hope your bike is OK.

i just got mine yesterday and it runs like shit. just bogs at any throttle and has absolutely no power through every gear. idled fine tho. getting a new better carb hope that fixes my issues!

The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is that you are not letting it warm up enough. Make sure it is fully warmed up usually takes about 10 minutes and then turn off the choke all the way. Once you have turned the choke off you should get better results. Hopefully this is helpful.

But i don’t want to ride a heavy duty 260 lbs enduro, i want to have some fun in the forest sometimes, make new friends, ride around beautiful places all over United States. So choosing from pit bikes i need the biggest model they offer :) i don’t mind ride 125 or 140, I’m a beginner , not going to use even half of the power :) but the size seems to be important just to be comfortable on it . And do not want to have a look of “big boy on a kid’s bike” 😅

It would be, likely, that someone will get burned on those exhaust systems. The suspension is insufficient and anything that can be braced, should be. Try not to let this stuff get you hurt or sick of motorcycles, altogether.
