I bought a home at a private airpark!

1.2 acre property at Pegasus Airpark (5AZ3) in Queen Creek, AZ. 3000 sq ft home with 65x50' hangar and taxiway access to 5000' runway.

I showed this to my wife and she said 'imagine living in a house and hearing airplane noises all day long!'. I looked at her, smiled, looked into the distance and said 'yeah'. :) Lovely looking house and great location - well done!

I totally agree with the wife .Besides can you imagine if an airplane gets out of the runaway during take off or landing? We can wake up with airplane inside out kitchen!

If you are rich enough to purchase and owned a house next to public airstrip, im sure you can afford things that make walls sound proof.

@Angel Bulldog look at the news in the past 10 years and see the kind of accidents around airports, SPECIALLY with pilots who have no experience and are flying on top of our heads all over the country. That calls "reality" my dear. the last report about an accident with a jet last year If I recall in NY the "pilots" forgot to release the breaks and took off, making the airplane go sideways (Out of the runway). Not saying this owners are the same kind of pilots but we can't abandon safety for convenience.

Haha, maybe if you had a sub-basement, you could sleep down there to stay insulated from the noise outside. More seriously, I wonder if they have enforcement of quiet hours over there? Imagine having to apologize to your angry neighbors because you came home late and landed nearby after midnight.

Airplane noises are fine, BUT Pegasus does have an "FBO" area that houses some of the bigger jets at the airpark. So hearing them wind up and rip out of the airpark is something to get used to

That’s so crazy I cleaned that home when I used to work for a cleaning company temporarily last year and oh my gosh when I stepped in it was beautiful, but the people that lived in it before absolutely did not up keep with it!! Congrats though it such a beautiful home.

Congrats on the home. The company I work for has been doing all the drilling in the new community to the south of this community. The homes along this air park are amazing. Every time I go by there I always tell myself one day that will be where I live. I don’t fly a plane but it’s every man’s dream space for other toys.
