I think this is a waste of money especially because the architecture. Even in Europe you have more place to the neighbors building but in Ghana you need more place to the neighbours. Everything is build non functional. You can clearly see the lack of european standards everywhere for example the lenghts and with of the rooms. Nobody builds like that we have 2021 now almost 2022. I worked as an architect assistant i can say blow up this house and build it new. Or give it to the poors for free.

Agree completely. Very modern and stylish architecture.

@@DonDeMarcoKarlsruhe “you can clearly see the lack of European standards” maybe because this isn’t Europe. All of the globe there are different architectural designs, just because these aren’t European doesn’t mean they’re bad. In my opinion, Japanese architecture looks better than the European architecture. Notice, how you worked as an assistant and not as an actual architect.

@@AfricancoolChic A well kept garden, with grass and trees, is safe... and I know as I have lived in houses like that all my life. Snakes tend to live in bushes and undeveloped neighbourhoods. @@africanmindsetseries Riiight🙄 tell that to the man I knew who died after being bitten by a scorpion while working in a "well maintained" garden. Ghanians aren't stupid they wouldn't riddle their homes with concrete gardens in flood prone areas. You're wrong, snakes don't discriminate, they go to both ill maintained and well maintained gardens alike.
@africanmindsetseries3 жыл бұрын
@@AfricancoolChic oh yes, so just because one person you know got bitten, we should pave everywhere and damage the environment? I disagree profoundly with you... The funny thing is I have seen scorpions in paved houses too... in fact inside a pantry which had concrete flooring too, so what do you do then? My sister got bitten by a snake in a house that was paved too. All this because the neighbours land on both sides were undeveloped and full of bushes. So the problem wasn't the house itself but the surrounding neighbourhood which had a lot of bushes. I am Ghanaian too and lived in kumasi. I have seen many snakes and scorpions in my lifetime... We used to kill snakes frequently in the compound of one of our homes (this was back in the 80s) because we were the first in the neighbourhood. Once the area got built up, we no longer had issues with snakes or scorpions despite the fact that we had a very large garden with trees, etc... and still do..my Dad still lives there. Paving everywhere is not the right answer. We must preserve the environment.

I like the giant bed in the bedroom, & high ceiling in living room 👍

What a beautiful house! I like their choice of colours/colour combination,the high ceilings,furniture and i think $200.00 a day is reasonable.A few things i would change about this house though,would be to tear down the wall between the living room and the kitchen so it's an open floor plan.Then i would add two night stands in the bedroom you showed us(The orange chair would have to go!)And last but not least...i would install a sliding glass door that opens up to the patio,instead of the window. And that would be it! Other than that it's really awesome! It's great to see my African continent doing things for themselves.Much love.

I hate open floor plans. I don’t want to see my kitchen all the time.

5600 a month? Nah. Thats horrible tbh. You can live in a mansion in America bigger than that house for less.

This is like having airbnb in usa and asking for 3000 per night. Average ghanian make less than 200 per month. People should respect the Average ghanian and dont make their life harder by inflating the prices
