Just found your channel... Massive Suzuki Bandit fan over here!!! I did the same thing a few years back, found a Bandit-o for cheap and fixed her up. Absolute beast of a bike. I've have to catch up on your videos and see what you've done! So awesome to see someone else giving these bikes some love :D They are painless to work on.

Very Nice! I have been riding a '97 1200S for almost 10 years now and I have never been disappointed. The 2005 with the blue/white are drop dead gorgeous in my book. I have a Yosh slip on, Holeshot jet kit, and K&N. Very quick wheelie machine.

Great deal man, and nice bike. I had an '05 Bandit 1200S that I bought new, and put about 12k miles on it before selling it. That bike had a massive amount of mid-range torque and was really fun to ride. But man, it seemed like every time you twisted the throttle hard it would launch you up to a 100mph in no time. I ended up getting a huge ticket and decided to go back to more tame motorcycles like my old Sportster and CX500, both of which I still have and ride.

You definitely have to have self control as likenyou said it was just too easy to break triple digits. I like to cruise at like 95 lol. I definitely miss this bike like my FZ1 but it seems I'm cursed when it comes to keeping a 1000cc sport tourer.

What's the title process like there? Here in Virginia filing for title for an abandoned vehicle costs $25 and takes about 2 months. Then you pay the usual $$ for title, tax and tags. Awesome score by the way!
@BrickHouseBuilds4 жыл бұрын
Well Ive got titles in different ways here already but this time im going to try for a bonded title. Not overly complicated but still not simple. Havent done it before so its a learning process. I do not know who had the title so filing for a lost one wont work.

Lol, must be that time of year, I picked up a 91 GSXR 750 the other day in a similar situation. What do you plan to do if not parts? Clean title frame or risk it for the biscuit when you ride? Lol

Im starting a title process now as I very much want to ride it this season. Having a title will increase the bikes value sp I can profit on it whenever I go to sell it.

@BrickHouseBuilds4 жыл бұрын
I have gone a couple routes on more vintage bikes in the past but on this bike I am going for a bonded title. I was expecting to have a title by now but the covid stuff shut down the dmvs causing me to be in a holding pattern. Ill link a friends channel s09engineering where he goes in depth on getting a bonded title in his state.
