Yesterday I spent £81 on a beautiful vintage 1975 Lundby Gothenberg dollhouse from a local antique shop. I didn’t intend to buy another dollhouse, especially a vintage one which might be tricky to renovate, but it’s now mine!
In this video, you can watch me unpack four huge bags of accessories, with my kids' help. Joni and Evan were very excited, and I was very scared (and still am) that they'd trash it.
Watch as we reveal a car, a swimming pool, loads of retro furniture, some cute accessories and a full bag of electrical equipment for lighting the dollhouse. They are all original, and as a child of the 1980s I definitely recognised a few styles from my childhood, including some very colourful wallpaper, wood panelling, and a fringed sofa.
Lundby is a Swedish brand that still operates today and sells some beautiful modern (and retro!) pieces.
