The Lundby doll house is a proud product of Sweden, and they were usually passed down to us 80's kids from our moms. The electrical system was a great feature and mine had light fixtures in every room. The highlight of the year was changing the wallpaper!

P.S. When my daughter was young, I would go to wallpaper stores and ask for wallpaper sample books that they were not using (maybe outdated ones) and I would use the samples to periodically spruce up her dollhouse.

Now you're talking my language .. I have been a miniaturist builder and collector for over 40 years, lol .. FYI, all Lundby dollhouses come pre-wired (I have both of the models from the 70s that you are showing here). All you have to do is plug-in any Lundby furniture or accessory piece you have (that has a plug) into one of the small wall outlets, plug the transformer into the back of the dollhouse (and into your power outlet) and it will automatically light up. Also, just so you know the 2 you have are very valuable, partly because they are in MINT condition, and also because you have original boxes. For the larger model (the Stockholm model), those not even in as good a condition as yours often sell in excess of $300 (what you have could possibly sell for $500 - $600). The other model, also being in beautiful MINT condition should sell for several hundred dollars. The kitchen furniture you have and a couple of the other pieces (the dining room cabinet and the living room couch and possibly the twin bed) are original Lundby, but the other pieces that came with it are not. Your daughter will really enjoy whichever house she finally decides on :)))

@@recoveringsoul755 The dolls you are referring to were not Lunby vintage dolls .. There was not enough footage in this video showing all the dolls in that box for me to tell if any of the dolls were Lundy (the Lundby manufactured dolls also look very different than those barbie type dolls), but the ones you're referring to are definitely miniature barbie, and could well have been those packaged in the happy meals.

The smaller one, that's exactly the one I had as a kid!!! Aw, I'm getting all nostalgic! When you were the proper age for doll houses, you were not yet trusted with an Allen key! A set of Allen keys wasn't given to you until your 12th birthday! It's an age old Swedish coming-of-age-tradition! You did, however, get meatballs every day after your play sessions. Meatballs ARE involved in absolutely everything here. That is the simple truth! Sweden has killed ALL the polar beers, you won't see a single one walking the streets here!
